Then He mounted the Throne. Ye have not, beside Him, a protecting friend or mediator. Small thanks give ye!” (32:9) 00:04:42.180 --> 00:04:52.079 And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts; yet little do you give thanks. 00:04:52.079 --> 00:04:58.079 Then He fashioned the human, whose creation He began from clay, into a balanced and well-proportioned form. 00:04:58.079 --> 00:05:03.079 He breathed into him from His spirit, and he became a living, speaking being. 00:05:03.079 --> 00:05:06.079 Your Lord has bestowed favors upon you, O mankind, 00:05:06.079 --> 00:05:10.079 by giving you hearing with which you hear sounds, 00:05:10.079 --> 00:05:13.079 sight with which you see objects, 00:05:13.079 --> 00:05:17.079 and hearts with which you distinguish good from evil. 00:05:17.079 --> 00:05:23.079 Yet you offer but little thanks to your Lord for what He has bestowed upon you. 00:05:40.839 --> 00:05:42.839 The polytheists who associate partners with Allah say: 00:05:42.839 --> 00:05:47.839 "When our flesh and bones have become dust in the earth, 00:05:47.839 --> 00:05:49.839 shall we be resurrected as a new creation?" 00:05:49.839 --> 00:05:53.939 These polytheists do not deny the power of Allah, 00:05:53.939 --> 00:05:56.939 “And they say: When we are lost in the earth, how can we then be re-created? Nay but they are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord.” (32:10) 00:05:56.939 --> 00:06:00.939 but they fear His punishment for their disobedience to Him. 00:06:00.939 --> 00:06:05.939 It is for this reason that they deny meeting their Lord in the Hereafter.
