The Garden of Guidance. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: “They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace,” (25:75) On the authority of 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, opened a door between himself and the people, or he drew back a curtain, and saw the people praying behind Abu Bakr. He praised Allah for the good state he saw them in, hoping that Allah would preserve them in the same good condition after him. Then he said: "O people! Whosoever among the people, or among the believers, is afflicted with a calamity, let him find solace in the calamity of losing me for any other calamity that befalls him. For indeed, no one from my Ummah will ever be afflicted after me with a calamity greater upon him than the calamity of my loss." Narrated by Ibn Majah. A Point of Benefit: 'Abdullah Ibn Muhammad al-Harawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Among the jewels of righteousness is concealing one's calamity, to the extent that people think you have never been afflicted at all."
