00:00:00.560 --> 00:00:03.359
The Garden of Guidance.

00:00:03.359 --> 00:00:07.860
Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said:

00:00:07.860 --> 00:00:19.859
“They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace,” (25:75)

00:00:19.859 --> 00:00:24.260
On the authority of 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said:

00:00:24.260 --> 00:00:30.460
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, opened a door between himself and the people,

00:00:30.460 --> 00:00:32.460
or he drew back a curtain,

00:00:32.460 --> 00:00:36.460
and saw the people praying behind Abu Bakr.

00:00:36.460 --> 00:00:40.549
He praised Allah for the good state he saw them in,

00:00:40.549 --> 00:00:45.549
hoping that Allah would preserve them in the same good condition after him.

00:00:45.549 --> 00:00:47.549
Then he said:

00:00:47.549 --> 00:00:49.549
"O people!

00:00:49.549 --> 00:00:53.549
Whosoever among the people, or among the believers,

00:00:53.549 --> 00:00:55.549
is afflicted with a calamity,

00:00:55.549 --> 00:01:01.549
let him find solace in the calamity of losing me for any other calamity that befalls him.

00:01:01.549 --> 00:01:09.549
For indeed, no one from my Ummah will ever be afflicted after me with a calamity greater upon him than the calamity of my loss."

00:01:09.549 --> 00:01:11.939
Narrated by Ibn Majah.

00:01:11.939 --> 00:01:15.500
A Point of Benefit:

00:01:15.500 --> 00:01:19.500
'Abdullah Ibn Muhammad al-Harawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

00:01:19.500 --> 00:01:21.500
"Among the jewels of righteousness

00:01:21.500 --> 00:01:23.500
is concealing one's calamity,

00:01:23.500 --> 00:01:26.500
to the extent that people think you have never been afflicted at all."
