A verse and its Tafsir
Allah the Exalted says:
"So flee to Allah."
Among the meanings of fleeing to Allah is:
Fleeing from the servitude of anyone other than Allah to His servitude alone.
And from the love of anyone other than Him to the love of Him.
And from fearing, hoping in, and relying upon anyone other than Him,
To fearing, hoping in, and relying upon Him alone.
And from supplicating to, humbling oneself before, and debasing oneself to anyone other than Him,
To supplicating to, humbling oneself before, and debasing oneself to Him alone.
