and whoever is resentful, upon him is resentment."

The truly deprived,

O servants of Allah,

is the one who knows

that he has a tongue that does not tire,

yet he does not remember Allah in his day

at all.

Some even say to me:

"By Allah,

you do not remember Allah

unless you are swearing an oath."

while we are in a state of heedlessness regarding our affairs,

is that the effect of the Qur'an appears upon you.

It is not the point

how far you have reached in the Qur'an,

how far you have reached in reading the Qur'an,

00:14:16.250 --> 00:14:18.250
nor is the point

00:14:18.250 --> 00:14:20.250
how much you have memorized of the Qur'an.

00:14:20.250 --> 00:14:22.250
Rather, the point is

00:14:22.250 --> 00:14:24.250
how far the Qur'an has reached within you.

00:14:24.250 --> 00:14:26.250
The point is

00:14:26.250 --> 00:14:28.250
what effect the Qur'an has had on you.

00:14:28.250 --> 00:14:30.250
Do not tell people

00:14:30.250 --> 00:14:32.250
how much of the Qur'an you have read,

00:14:32.250 --> 00:14:34.250
but let them

00:14:34.250 --> 00:14:36.250
see in you

00:14:36.250 --> 00:14:38.250
a Qur'an walking upon

00:14:38.250 --> 00:14:40.250
the earth; for this is one of

00:14:40.250 --> 00:14:42.250
the greatest forms of contentment.

00:14:42.250 --> 00:14:44.250
O Allah, we ask You for Your pleasure

00:14:44.250 --> 00:14:46.250
and Paradise.

00:14:46.250 --> 00:14:48.250
O Allah, we ask You for Your pleasure.

O Allah, we ask You for Your pleasure and Paradise,

and we seek refuge in You from Your displeasure

and from the Fire.

O Allah, be pleased with us.

grant us contentment, and take our souls

And conclude our deeds with righteousness.

O Allah, grant us security in our homelands.

And rectify our leaders.

And those in authority over us.

O Allah, grant us success in every deed.

That You love and are pleased with.

Adorn us with Your beautiful covering.

And beneath that covering, place a deed.

That is righteous and pleasing to You.

Rectify our intentions and our offspring.

Relieve the distress of the distressed.

And remove the anguish of the anguished.

And settle the debts of those in debt.

And heal our sick and the sick of the Muslims.

And have mercy on our dead and the dead of the Muslims.

And specifically include among them our fathers.

And our mothers.

00:15:50.250 --> 00:15:52.250
And all the Muslims.

By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

O Lord, we have called upon You.

Just as You commanded us.

In this blessed hour.

And on this blessed day.

And in this blessed place.

So grant us what we have hoped for.

And even more than we have hoped for.

Of the good of this world.

And the Hereafter.

And send peace upon our master Muhammad.

And upon all his family and companions.

And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
