The effects of believing in the Exaltation (al-'uluw) of Allah the Exalted.
Belief in the Exaltation of Allah the Exalted encompasses three types.
The exaltation of Essence, the exaltation of Omnipotence, and the exaltation of Status and Rank.
This yields numerous positive effects for the servant, the most important of which are:
First:
Submission to Allah the Exalted.
Humility and self-abasement before Him, glory be to Him.
Accompanied by love, veneration, and reverence for Him.
These two are the pillars of servitude to Allah the Exalted.
Second:
Humility before Allah the Exalted and before the truth He has revealed.
Belief in His Exaltation necessitates and establishes this.
Third:
Caution against arrogance and tyranny on earth without right.
Avoiding the oppression of people, being arrogant toward them, and subjugating them.
This is due to the certainty of the Exaltation of Allah, who is the Subduer of every unjust, tyrannical, and arrogant person on earth.
Fourth:
Purifying the heart from fear of weak created beings.
For no matter how much power or status they are given,
Allah is above them in His power and His subjugation.
Fifth:
Declaring Allah the Exalted free from every deficiency in His Essence, His attributes, and His actions.
Affirming perfection for Him, glory be to Him.
And praising Him for that.
