So we believed in him
When we came to the city
We invited our people to Islam
And following the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
So when next year
We went out as 12 Muslim men
So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, pledged allegiance to us during the season
And we left
It was the first Pledge of Aqaba
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sent with us
Musab Ibn Umair, may God be pleased with him
He recites the Qur’an to us and gives us understanding of religion
Then we brought him the following year
70 men pledge allegiance to him in the second Pledge of Aqaba

And I slowly said, O people of Yathrib
We did not strike camel livers at him
Except we know that he is the Messenger of God
His release today is a paradox for all Arabs
Your choice will be killed and swords will bite you
Either you are a people who are patient with that
May God reward you
Or you are a people who are afraid of yourselves
So leave him, for he is more excused for you in the sight of God
They said: Extend your hand from us
By God, we will never call this pledge of allegiance
We do not resign her
So we went to him and pledged allegiance to him
So he imposed a condition on us
And He gives us Paradise for that
I was the first to gather people for Friday prayers in the city
I also used to gather them for the five daily prayers
In a mosque I built for Muslims
In the first year of migration
I got sick
I was fed up with it
The disease increased
Then my death came to me and my soul overflowed
This was before the Battle of Badr
Then Qawmi bin Al-Najjar came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And they said
Our captain died
So appoint a captain over us, O Messenger of God
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I am your captain
My people were proud of that
