What is the reward for remaining seated in one's place of prayer in a state of ritual purity?
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"The angels continue to invoke blessings upon any one of you as long as he remains in his place of prayer,
so long as he does not break his ritual purity,
saying, 'O Allah, forgive him!
O Allah, have mercy on him!'
And one of you continues to be considered in prayer as long as the prayer holds him back,
with nothing preventing him from returning to his family except waiting for the prayer."
