Show me what they have created of the earth. Or have they any portion in the heavens? Say (O Muhammad): If I have invented it, still ye have no power to support me against Allah. He is Best Aware of what ye say among yourselves concerning it. Lo! Allah guideth not wrong-doing folk.” (46:10) 00:07:10.180 --> 00:07:13.180 Then you believed and grew arrogant. 00:07:13.180 --> 00:07:19.819 Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. 00:07:19.819 --> 00:07:22.819 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists: 00:07:22.819 --> 00:07:28.819 "Consider, O people, if this Qur’an is from Allah and He revealed it to me, 00:07:28.819 --> 00:07:30.819 and you disbelieved in it, 00:07:30.819 --> 00:07:36.819 while a witness from the Children of Israel, ‘Abdullah ibn Salam, has testified to the like of this Qur’an," 00:07:36.819 --> 00:07:38.819 which is the Torah. 00:07:38.819 --> 00:07:44.819 His testimony was that Muhammad is written in the Torah as a prophet. 00:07:44.819 --> 00:07:47.819 The Jews find him written with them in the Torah, 00:07:47.819 --> 00:07:51.819 just as he is written in the Qur’an as a prophet. 00:07:51.819 --> 00:07:54.819 So ‘Abdullah ibn Salam believed, 00:07:54.819 --> 00:07:57.819 while you grew arrogant toward faith. 00:07:57.819 --> 00:08:02.819 Indeed, Allah does not grant success in attaining the truth to the disbelieving people, 00:08:02.819 --> 00:08:07.459 who wronged themselves by their disbelief in it. 00:08:07.459 --> 00:08:10.459 And those who disbelieved said to those who believed: 00:08:10.459 --> 00:08:15.459 “And those who disbelieve say of those who believe: If it had been (any) good, they would not have been before us in attaining it. And since they will not be guided by it, they say: This is an ancient lie;” (46:11) 00:08:15.459 --> 00:08:23.459 “And those who disbelieve say of those who believe: If it had been (any) good, they would not have been before us in attaining it. And since they will not be guided by it, they say: This is an ancient lie;” (46:11) 00:08:23.459 --> 00:08:29.300 And those who denied the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him), 00:08:29.300 --> 00:08:33.299 from the Jews of the Children of Israel, said to those who believed in him: 00:08:33.299 --> 00:08:38.299 "If your believing in Muhammad regarding what he brought you were good, 00:08:38.299 --> 00:08:41.299 you would not have preceded us in believing in him." 00:08:41.299 --> 00:08:46.419 And since they were not guided by Muhammad and what he brought from Allah, 00:08:46.419 --> 00:08:52.419 they will say, "This Qur’an is ancient falsehoods from the stories of the ancients." 00:08:52.419 --> 00:08:59.159 And before it was the Book of Moses, a guide and a mercy. 00:08:59.159 --> 00:09:12.159 “When before it there was the Scripture of Moses, an example and a mercy; and this is a confirming Scripture in the Arabic language, that it may warn those who do wrong and bring good tidings for the righteous.” (46:12) 00:09:12.159 --> 00:09:16.159 And a bringer of glad tidings to the doers of good. 00:09:16.159 --> 00:09:20.960 And before this Book was the Book of Moses, which is the Torah, 00:09:20.960 --> 00:09:24.960 a guide for the Children of Israel, by which they are guided, 00:09:24.960 --> 00:09:27.960 and a mercy to them, which We revealed to them. 00:09:27.960 --> 00:09:33.960 And this Qur’an confirms the Book of Moses, that Muhammad is a sent prophet, 00:09:33.960 --> 00:09:40.960 in an Arabic tongue, to warn those who wronged themselves by their disbelief in Allah, 00:09:40.960 --> 00:09:45.960 and it is glad tidings for those who obeyed Allah and did good in their faith. 00:09:45.960 --> 00:09:53.889 Indeed, those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," and then remain steadfast, 00:09:53.889 --> 00:10:02.889 there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. 00:10:02.889 --> 00:10:17.889 “Such are rightful owners of the Garden, immortal therein, as a reward for what they used to do.” (46:14) 00:10:17.889 --> 00:10:23.460 Indeed, those who say, "Our Lord is Allah, besides Whom there is no god," 00:10:23.460 --> 00:10:28.460 then remain steadfast in their belief in that, not mixing it with any polytheism, 00:10:28.460 --> 00:10:32.460 there will be no fear for them of the terror of the Day of Resurrection, 00:10:32.460 --> 00:10:37.460 nor will they grieve for what they left behind after their death. 00:10:37.460 --> 00:10:44.460 These are the people of Paradise, abiding therein forever, 00:10:44.460 --> 00:10:50.460 as a reward from Us for their righteous deeds which they used to do in the world. 00:10:52.169 --> 00:10:58.169 “And We have commended unto man kindness toward parents. His mother beareth him with reluctance, and bringeth him forth with reluctance, and the bearing of him and the weaning of him is thirty months, till, when he attaineth full strength and reacheth forty years, he saith: My Lord! Arouse me that I may give thanks for the favour wherewith Thou hast favoured me and my parents, and that I may do right acceptable unto Thee. And be gracious unto me in the matter of my seed. Lo! (They are) among the owners of the Garden.
