If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, say not "Fie" unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word.” (17:23) 00:07:32.540 --> 00:07:34.540 And do not repel them. 00:07:34.540 --> 00:07:36.540 “Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him, and (that ye show) kindness to parents. 00:09:23.850 of a second. 00:09:23.850 --> 00:09:25.850 Seize that opportunity to show them kindness. 00:09:25.850 --> 00:09:27.850 Before the chance slips away from you, 00:09:27.850 --> 00:09:29.850 and you are left with regret. 00:09:29.850 --> 00:09:31.850 For the day will come 00:09:31.850 --> 00:09:33.850 when you will no longer see 00:09:33.850 --> 00:09:35.850 your mother or your father. 00:09:35.850 --> 00:09:37.850 Whoever has experienced such deprivation knows its weight. 00:09:37.850 --> 00:09:39.850 Whoever has experienced such deprivation knows its weight. 00:09:39.850 --> righteous, 00:09:53.929 --> 00:09:55.929 and grant them a good conclusion. 00:09:55.929 --> 00:09:57.929 And make them pleased with us. 00:09:57.929 --> 00:09:59.929 And ward off from them affliction and harm. 00:09:59.929 --> 00:10:01.929 O Allah. 00:10:01.929 --> 00:10:03.929 And whoever among them 00:10:03.929 --> 00:10:05.929 we have laid to rest in the earth, 00:10:05.929 --> 00:10:07.929 and who has departed from us, 00:10:07.929 --> 00:10:09.929 having fulfilled their duty and shown kindness, 00:10:10.009 --> 00:10:12.009 O Allah, illuminate their grave for them, 00:10:12.009 --> 00:10:14.009 and expand it for them. 00:10:14.009 --> 00:10:16.009 O Allah, gather us 00:10:16.009 --> 00:10:18.009 with them in the highest Paradise. 00:10:18.009 --> 00:10:20.009 O Allah, do not let us be distracted 00:10:20.009 --> 00:10:22.009 from showing them kindness, whether they are alive 00:10:22.009 --> 00:10:24.009 or dead. 00:10:24.009 --> 00:10:26.009 O Allah, do not deprive them 00:10:26.009 --> 00:10:28.009 of the vastness of Your mercy, 00:10:28.009 --> 00:10:30.009 the encompassing of Your well-being, 00:10:30.009 --> 00:10:32.009 and the abundance of Your bounty. 00:10:32.009 --> 00:10:34.009 O Allah, do not turn Your noble Face away from them. 00:10:34.009 --> 00:10:36.009 O Allah, conclude their affairs with goodness, 00:10:36.009 --> 00:10:38.009 and make the outcome of their matters 00:10:38.090 --> 00:10:40.090 lead to good. 00:10:40.090 --> 00:10:42.090 O Allah, whoever among them has died 00:10:42.090 --> 00:10:44.090 has now come under Your protection, 00:10:44.090 --> 00:10:46.090 and the bond of Your neighborhood. 00:10:46.090 --> 00:10:48.090 O Allah, protect them from the punishment of the grave, 00:10:48.090 --> 00:10:50.090 and the punishment of Hellfire. 00:10:50.090 --> 00:10:52.090 O Allah, let the breezes of Paradise 00:10:52.090 --> 00:10:54.090 blow upon them in their graves. 00:10:54.090 --> 00:10:56.090 O Allah, compensate them 00:10:56.090 --> 00:10:58.090 for every pain. 00:10:58.090 --> 00:11:00.090 “And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who ward off (evil);” (3:133) 00:11:00.090 --> 00:11:02.090 O Allah, reward them 00:11:02.090 --> 00:11:04.090 for their good deeds with greater goodness, 00:11:04.090 --> 00:11:06.090 and for their sins with pardon and forgiveness. 00:11:06.169 --> 00:11:08.169 O Allah, heal their sick, 00:11:08.169 --> 00:11:10.169 grant well-being to those among them who are afflicted, 00:11:10.169 --> 00:11:12.169 settle their debts, 00:11:12.169 --> 00:11:14.169 relieve their distress, 00:11:14.169 --> 00:11:16.169 remove their burdens, 00:11:16.169 --> 00:11:18.169 and facilitate their affairs. 00:11:18.169 --> 00:11:20.169 O Allah, O Hearer of supplication, 00:11:20.169 --> 00:11:22.169 have mercy on them as they raised us when we were small. 00:11:22.169 --> 00:11:24.169 O Allah, have mercy on them as they raised us when we were small. 00:11:24.169 --> 00:11:26.169 O Allah, grant us 00:11:26.169 --> 00:11:28.169 the pleasure of our parents, 00:11:28.169 --> 00:11:30.169 and the kindness of our children without hardship. 00:11:30.169 --> 00:11:32.169 O Allah, O Hearer of supplication, 00:11:32.169 --> 00:11:34.169 answer our supplication for them. 00:11:34.250 --> 00:11:36.250 O Allah, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, 00:11:36.250 --> 00:11:38.250 rectify our intentions and our offspring. 00:11:38.250 --> 00:11:40.250 Forgive our sins, 00:11:40.250 --> 00:11:42.250 conceal our faults, 00:11:42.250 --> 00:11:44.250 accept our repentance, and conclude our deeds with righteousness. 00:11:44.250 --> 00:11:46.250 Grant us security in our homelands, 00:11:46.250 --> 00:11:48.250 and rectify our leaders, 00:11:48.250 --> 00:11:50.250 and those in authority over us. 00:11:50.250 --> 00:11:52.250 O Allah, grant victory to our soldiers on the borders, 00:11:52.250 --> 00:11:54.250 and grant victory to our oppressed brothers 00:11:54.250 --> 00:11:56.250 everywhere. 00:11:56.250 --> 00:11:58.250 O Allah, just as You have gathered us upon this floor, 00:11:58.250 --> 00:12:00.250 gather us beneath Your Throne, 00:12:00.250 --> 00:12:02.250 as brothers, facing one another on thrones. 00:12:02.330 --> 00:12:04.330 O Allah, this is the supplication, and from You is the answer. 00:12:04.330 --> 00:12:06.330 “Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)” (37:180) 00:12:06.330 -->
