In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. We are a sun that never sets. Whenever a caller calls, we answer. We restore the truth, whole and sound. We support the beloved Al-Aqsa. Within it is the best of creation, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. It is indeed a blessed place of prayer. A blessed place of prayer. What are the landmarks and boundaries of Al-Aqsa Mosque? This is one of the important questions that must be answered. In a comprehensive and detailed manner. Because of the confusion it causes for many Muslims. Whether intentionally or unintentionally. And due to the misleading and directed media machine. The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. Is an ancient mosque with a glorious history. It is one of the largest mosques in the world. It holds a special sanctity and a great status among Muslims. It is distinguished and unique for landmarks not found elsewhere. It derives its exclusivity from that good, blessed, and sacred land. The land of the prophets. Many Muslims think—and are mistaken— Whether due to negligence, media misinformation, or policies of ignorance, That that beautiful golden dome, With its magnificent architectural structure, Is Al-Aqsa Mosque. Or the Qibli prayer hall with the leaden dome, Where the worshippers pray, Which is known as the Mosque of Umar. Others think that is Al-Aqsa Mosque. But the truth, in which there is no doubt or uncertainty, And upon which scholars and historians have agreed, Is that Al-Aqsa Mosque encompasses everything enclosed by the wall. It contains many landmarks. Including the wall, the gates, and the vast courtyards. The congregational prayer hall. The Dome of the Rock. The Marwani prayer hall. The porticoes, domes, and stone platforms (mastabas). The water fountains, schools, Minarets, wells, libraries, and others. Al-Aqsa Mosque Is located in the eastern part of the city of Jerusalem. And it is entirely unroofed, Except for the structure of the Dome of the Rock, The congregational prayer hall, Meaning the Qibli Mosque, The Old Mosque, The Marwani prayer hall, The Buraq Mosque, The Maghariba Mosque, The Women’s Mosque, And the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall. Therefore, the reward for prayer is multiplied within it, In any part of what is enclosed by the wall. The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque Is that blessed spot surrounded by the mosque's wall, Ever since its foundations were laid, And established in the era of Adam, Until this day of ours, With the succession of construction, development, and restoration within it, Throughout various times and eras. Whatever is above it and whatever is below it is considered part of it. We do not single out one spot within it, And say that it alone is Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is what the Jews strive for, And those who follow their path, Whether intentionally or unintentionally. The total area of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Within the enclosure of the wall, Amounts to 144 dunams, Which is equivalent to 144,000 square meters. The area of the Dome of the Rock Is equivalent to 1,000 square meters. And the Qibli prayer hall Is approximately 4,500 square meters. Thus, if the focus is placed only on specific parts of it, And they are considered to be the only Al-Aqsa Mosque, Then large parts of it, over time, Will be seized by the Jews, To be a temple for them, On the grounds that they are not part of the mosque. And herein lies the danger. Just as the walls of Al-Aqsa Mosque Are an inseparable part of it. Their dimensions are as follows: The southern wall, Which is in the direction of the Qibla, Is 181 meters. The western wall, Which contains the Buraq Wall, Is 491 meters. The northern wall, Is 310 meters. The eastern wall, Is 462 meters. The Qibli prayer hall Is the roofed congregational mosque, With the leaden dome, In the southern part Of Al-Aqsa Mosque, facing the Qibla. Hence the name "Qibli." It is called the "Jami'" (congregational mosque) Because it is the main place For the khatib and the Imam during prayers. Historians and chroniclers agree That Umar Ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, When he conquered Jerusalem In the fifteenth year of the Hijra, Built a modest, small mosque, Adjacent to the southern wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque, On the Qibla side. It was made of wood and could accommodate a thousand worshippers. The current structure of the Qibli prayer hall Dates back to the Umayyad era, When the Caliph began its construction, Abd al-Malik Ibn Marwan, And his son al-Walid completed it, In the period between 86 AH And 96 AH. It has seven doors on the northern side. Its length is 80 meters, And its width is 55 meters. Its area is approximately 4,500 Square meters. It accommodates about 5,500 worshippers. The Dome of the Rock Is one of the prominent And famous landmarks in Al-Aqsa Mosque. Its area is 1,000 square meters. That golden dome, Carried on a structure That is octagonal and equilateral. It was built by Abd al-Malik Ibn Marwan In the period between 66 AH And 72 AH. It is the oldest Islamic architectural monument, And one of its Islamic gems. The Marwani prayer hall Is located below the southeastern corner, That is, under the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It was known in the past As the Eastern Substructure. The Umayyads built it As an architectural leveling For the original plateau of Jerusalem, Which slopes toward the south. Its eastern and southern walls Form the lower parts Of the walls of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Marwani prayer hall consists Of 16 aisles, And its area reaches Approximately 4,000 square meters. It accommodates more than 6,000 worshippers. It was named the Marwani prayer hall After Abd al-Malik Ibn Marwan, And it was designated for teaching fiqh. The Buraq Wall Is the southwestern part of the mosque's wall. Its length is about 50 meters, And its height is about 20 meters. It is a part of Al-Aqsa Mosque, And is considered Islamic property. The Jews now call it The Wailing Wall, Claiming that it is the remaining part Of the alleged Temple. The Jews never claimed Any right to the wall Until they were able to establish An entity for themselves in Jerusalem. When they used to visit Jerusalem, They would worship at the eastern wall, Then they shifted to the western wall. The Dome of the Chain Is the oldest landmark built inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Umayyad era. It is located in the middle of Al-Aqsa Mosque, East of the Dome of the Rock. It is a small building, Beautiful in shape and decoration. Its walls are open. It has eleven sides and a mihrab. These sides rest On eleven marble columns. In its center are other columns Supporting a closed hexagonal neck, Topped by the dome. In the middle of 2012 AD, The Zionist occupation municipality issued a decision To convert the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque Into gardens and public squares, To terminate its status as an extension of the mosque, and to open the way for the Jews to enter it at any time, which highlights the danger of reducing Al-Aqsa Mosque to only specific areas, and working in stages to implement their schemes for building the alleged Temple. It is the place of the Trustworthy Spirit’s revelation, the mission site for the messengers, the qibla for the Muslims, and the gateway for the conquerors. Within it, the best of creation, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, prayed. It is truly an excellent place of prayer. It is truly an excellent place of prayer.
