But Islam employs this meaning and benefits from it in several facts
So he makes misguidance and abandonment of guidance and truth death
Guidance is life and light
Is he who was dead, then We revived him and gave him a light by which he walks among the people?
Like someone like him in the darkness
Remembering God is life, and neglecting Him is death
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Like the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord
Like the living and the dead

Sleep is called the minor death
This indicates resurrection after death
God Almighty said
God takes souls to death at the time of their death, and those who did not die in their sleep
He catches the woman whom death has decreed
The other is sent for a specified period
Indeed, in that are signs for people who reflect
