Summary of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah No hesitation in the heart regarding the Noble Qur'an. Allah the Almighty says: “(It is) a Scripture that is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) - so let there be no heaviness in thy heart therefrom - that thou mayst warn thereby, and (it is) a Reminder unto believers.” (7:2) “(Saying): Follow that which is sent down unto you from your Lord, and follow no protecting friends beside Him. Little do ye recollect!” (7:3) The Book of Allah the Almighty was revealed for the purpose of calling to it, warning with it, and judging between people according to its contents. And since most people oppose faith, as Allah the Almighty says: “And though thou try much, most men will not believe.” (12:103) The callers to Allah will inevitably face people's opposition to the Qur'an and its teachings. Therefore, they should not feel any hesitation in their hearts regarding this, nor in confronting people with it. Just as Allah the Almighty commanded His Prophet to do so in confronting his people and warning them with it. Allah the Almighty says: “So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them herewith with a great endeavour.” (25:52) This address to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is also an address to his Ummah after him. So they must strive with it against those who oppose it. And confront them with a comprehensive confrontation of all human deviations from the Qur'an. A confrontation of the darkness of misconceptions, the darkness of desires, the darkness of tyranny and humiliation, and the darkness of servitude to them and to the self.
