Summary of Sunni concepts The believer is satisfied with what God is pleased with and rejects what He is not pleased with The believing servant must be satisfied with what God is pleased with for him and reject what He, Glory be to Him, is not pleased with God Almighty has approved Islam as our religion, as God Almighty said Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My blessings upon you, and have approved for you Islam as your religion So we must be completely satisfied with this religion that God, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise, has chosen for us God does not approve of disbelief in His servants, as God Almighty said If you disbelieve, then God is self-sufficient and does not approve of disbelief for His servants The servants must fight disbelief and dissatisfaction with it as a reality in life This is with regard to what God pleases according to Islamic law As for what God Almighty decrees upon His servants from His cosmic destinies If it is something that can be defended with legitimate reasons He seeks to repel it, and this does not conflict with contentment with what God Almighty has destined Even if it is something that cannot be defended if it occurs, such as death and similar calamities Here we must be patient and content with His decree and destiny, Glory be to Him
