In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. What an excellent place of prayer. When and how shall we liberate the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque? Every result is preceded by prerequisites and causes. These must be realized for us to reach our desired goals. Allah, the Almighty, has explained in His Noble Book, with the utmost clarity, the foundations of victory, empowerment, honor, and supremacy for this Ummah. He established spiritual causes as the origin and foundation of elevation, and material causes as secondary and complementary. Knowing the Prophetic biography and the lives of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and their conditions in that blessed, sacred, and good land, sharpens resolve and revives the religious loyalty to those sanctities. It also motivates generations to emulate them, to follow their path, and to walk in their footsteps, for the path of the prophets and their followers is the shortest route to liberating Jerusalem. This is summarized by realizing servitude to Allah, the Almighty, and worshipping Him alone as He commanded, and by establishing ideal societies based on beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds, just as was the case in the societies of the prophets, may the blessings of Allah be upon them, and the Companions, may the pleasure of Allah be upon them. The enemies have realized that if the Ummah holds fast to its religion, and returns to the Book of its Lord and the Sunnah of its Prophet, peace be upon him, then victory will be its ally. No force of oppression or tyranny will be able to stand before it, regardless of its material, technical, or technological capabilities. We have lessons in the biographies of the prophets, history, and wars. In short, let us reflect upon the Qur'anic verses and authentic hadiths that contain the causes of victory and empowerment. First: abandoning sins and acts of disobedience. For no affliction descends except by a sin, and none is lifted except by repentance. Allah the Almighty says: Second: the return of Muslims to their religion and the implementation of the law of Allah. The Almighty says: "If you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet." And the Almighty says: “Those who have been driven from their homes unjustly only because they said: Our Lord is Allah - For had it not been for Allah's repelling some men by means of others, cloisters and churches and oratories and mosques, wherein the name of Allah is oft mentioned, would assuredly have been pulled down. Verily Allah helpeth one who helpeth Him. Lo! Allah is Strong, Almighty -” (22:40) Third: realizing servitude to Allah, the Almighty, by performing obligatory duties and acts of obedience in the required manner. The Almighty says: “And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth:” (21:105) And the Almighty says: “Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants.” (24:55) “Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants.” (24:55) "They worship Me, not associating anything with Me." The Almighty says: “Allah hath decreed: Lo! I verily shall conquer, I and My messengers. Lo! Allah is Strong, Almighty.” (58:21) That victory belongs to Him, His Book, His messengers, and His believing servants in this world and the Hereafter, and that the ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous. Whoever reflects on the story of Talut (Saul), and his battle against the disbelieving king of the pagan giants, Jalut (Goliath), sees how the small group of believers, after steadfastness and patience, and the realization of servitude and obedience, triumphed over the disbelieving group, despite their strength, numbers, and equipment. The Almighty says: "And when they went out against Jalut and his soldiers, they said, 'Our Lord, pour upon us patience, and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.'" So they defeated them by the permission of Allah, and Dawud (David) killed Jalut. “So they routed them by Allah's leave and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of that which He willeth. And if Allah had not repelled some men by others the earth would have been corrupted. But Allah is a Lord of Kindness to (His) creatures.” (2:251) And He taught him of what He willed. "And were it not for Allah checking [some] people by means of others..." “So they routed them by Allah's leave and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of that which He willeth. And if Allah had not repelled some men by others the earth would have been corrupted. But Allah is a Lord of Kindness to (His) creatures.” (2:251) He is a bounty to the worlds. Therefore, when the Prophet, peace be upon him, addressed his Companions, as recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim from the hadith of Abdullah Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, by saying to them: "You will fight the Jews." And in another narration: "The Jews will fight you, and you will be given power over them." And in another narration: "You and the Jews will fight." And in another narration: "You will fight the Jews, but you will not kill them [all]." At the time of the address, the Jews had no presence in Palestine. And from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "The Hour will not begin until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Muslims will kill them, until the Jew hides behind a stone or a tree, and the stone or tree says: 'O Muslim, O servant of Allah, this is a Jew behind me, so come and kill him,' except for the Gharqad tree, for it is one of the trees of the Jews." Even though in the time of the Companions, the Romans were in control of Palestine, the Prophet, peace be upon him, mentioned this as a miracle, and also to draw their attention—and to capture our attention— that the generation that fights the Jews and triumphs over them are men who carry the morals and characteristics of the Companions. So, whenever we achieve emulation of them, victory over the enemies is achieved, and the sanctities are reclaimed. Fourth: Unity of the ranks and the absence of conflict and division. The Almighty says: "And do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and then your strength would depart." “And obey Allah and His messenger, and dispute not one with another lest ye falter and your strength depart from you; but be steadfast! Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.” (8:46) Fifth: Patience and piety, and frequent remembrance of Allah and steadfastness. The Almighty says: "O you who have believed, when you encounter a force, stand firm and remember Allah much." “O ye who believe! When ye meet an army, hold firm and think of Allah much, that ye may be successful.” (8:45) Therefore, Nur al-Din Zengi, may Allah have mercy on him, who paved the way for Salah al-Din, may Allah have mercy on him, to liberate Jerusalem, worked on spreading knowledge and monotheism, bringing scholars close, and unifying the small states. Then the efforts culminated in the liberation of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husayni, may Allah have mercy on him, says: "Return to Allah, and you will return to Palestine." For victory is never achieved by wishing and desires, nor by slogans and calls, but by effort, seriousness, work, and jihad. Al-Aqsa Mosque will return, whether time is long or short, because the ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous. In conclusion, we say: Victory is only achieved by hands that have performed ablution, by foreheads that have prostrated, by pure souls, by sanctified bodies, and by guarded tongues. We ask Allah, the Almighty, to grant us sincerity in word and deed, to accept from us and from you, to employ us in His obedience, and to make us among those who listen to the word and follow the best of it. O Allah, liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque from the clutches of the usurpers, protect it from the plots of the aggressors and the conspiracy of the conspirators, and release it from captivity, soon and not later, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, grant victory to and protect our brothers in Palestine. O Allah, make them steadfast, strengthen their hearts, help them, and be with them, unify their ranks, bring together their word, and unite their opinions upon the truth. O Allah, grant us all, therein, a prayer before death. And may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. What an excellent place of prayer. We are a sun that does not set. If the caller calls, we answer. We return the stolen right. We support the beloved Al-Aqsa. In it, the best of creation prayed. It is an excellent place of prayer. The landing place of the trustworthy revelation. The sending place of the messengers. The qibla for the Muslims. The destination of the conquerors. In it, the best of creation prayed. It is an excellent place of prayer. It is an excellent place of prayer.
