From the words of the Master of Messengers, may God bless him and grant him peace
Chapter on the prohibition of a woman mourning a dead person for more than three days
Except for her husband, four months and ten days
On the authority of Zainab bint Abi Salamah, may God be pleased with her, she said
I entered upon Umm Habiba, may God be pleased with her
The husband of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
When her father, Abu Sufyan bin Harb, may God be pleased with him, died
So she called for perfume that had yellowish or something else in it
So a slave girl anointed him
Then she touched her crotch
Then she said, “By God, I have no need for perfume.”
However, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He says on the pulpit
It is not permissible for a woman who believes in God and the Last Day
To mourn a dead person for more than three nights
Except for a husband, four months and ten
Zeinab said
Then I entered upon Zainab bint Jahshr, may God be pleased with her
When her brother died
So she called for perfume and touched it
Then she said
By God, I have no need for perfume

Which is to tell the buyer

Prohibiting anything that causes division
Discord between a woman and her husband

The mention of the brother in the hadith occurred mostly

Three things are disliked for you
He will be pleased for you to worship Him
And do not associate anything with Him
And that you all hold fast to the rope of God

Or not Ali Al-Mughirah in a letter to Muawiyah, may God be pleased with him
