Verse and interpretation
God Almighty said
And do not die unless you are Muslims
That is, preserve Islam while you are in good health and safety so that you may die according to it
The generous person has fulfilled his custom in his generosity, such that whoever lives on something dies on it
And whoever dies for something will be resurrected for it
God forbid otherwise
Interpretation of Ibn Kathir
If someone said
What is the meaning of “Do not die unless you are Muslims?”
Does a person have control over his end until he is commanded to do so?
The answer is
What is meant is to command a person to be alert and prepare for the end
He does good deeds, perhaps he will be sealed with them
