In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari Surah Al-Hijr In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful A thousand, not my mother These are the verses of the Book and a clear Quran Perhaps those who disbelieve wish they were Muslims A thousand, not my mother These are verses of books that existed before the Qur’an Such as the Torah and the Gospel And verses of the Qur’an that show whoever contemplates and contemplates his guidance and guidance Perhaps those who disbelieved in God and denied His oneness would like it If they were Muslims in this world Let them eat and enjoy themselves, and let them be inspired by hope, and they will know Leave, O Muhammad, these polytheists eating in this world They enjoy its pleasures and their desires in it For their term which I postponed for them Hope distracts them from taking their share of obedience to God in it Tomorrow, when they respond to him, they will know that they were in loss and ruin We destroyed not a single town except that it had a known book No nation advances its term, nor does it delay it O Muhammad, we have not destroyed any of the people of one of the villages that we destroyed in the past Except that it has a temporary term and a known duration So are the people of your village We will not destroy the polytheists of its people except after their term has been fulfilled What precedes the destruction of a nation before its term Its destruction will not be delayed beyond the time limit set for it And they said, O you to whom the message was revealed, you are crazy If you had not brought us the angels, you were of the truthful ones These polytheists said O you to whom the Qur’an was revealed The one who reminded God of the sermons it contained to his creation You are crazy in your prayers for us to follow you and abandon our gods Don't you bring us angels as witnesses to the truth of what you say? If you are honest that God Almighty has sent you as a messenger to us We do not send down the angels except with truth, and they are not speculators We do not send down our angels except with the truth by sending a message to our messengers Or by tormenting whomever we wanted to torture If We had sent to these polytheists a sign and they would have disbelieved They did not look and be delayed with torment Rather, they hastened it just as we did to the nations before them when they asked about the signs So they disbelieved when the signs came to them, so We hastened punishment upon them It is We who sent down the Remembrance, and indeed We will preserve it Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an, and indeed, we are guardians of the Qur’an From adding to it the falsehood of what is not of it Or what is missing from it is its rulings, limits, and obligations We were sent before you among the sects of the ancients No messenger comes to them but they mock him O Muhammad, We sent messengers before you among the first nations And what comes to the first two is a messenger sent by God Except they were mocking the messengers We also make it into the hearts of criminals They do not believe in him, and the year of the first two has passed Just as we cultivated disbelief in the hearts of the ancients by mocking the messengers This is what we do in the hearts of those who committed crimes in disbelief in God Your people, whose hearts have taken the path of denial, do not believe in this Qur’an Until they see the painful torment They took from them the Sunnah of their ancestors from the polytheists before them From the nations that denied their Messenger She did not believe in what came to her from God Until God's wrath befell her and she perished And if We had opened for them a gate from heaven, they would have continued to climb through it They would have said, “Our eyes have been blinded.” Rather, we are an enchanted people O Muhammad, if we had opened a door from heaven to these polytheists So they remained in it, rising and rising It was said that the angels kept ascending through it while they saw them with their own eyes These polytheists would have said, “This is not true.” It took our sight and enchanted it Do not see a thing as it is And We have placed constellations in the sky and decorated them for the beholders And We have made dwelling places in the lower heaven for the sun and the moon We decorated the sky with stars for those who looked at them and saw them And We protected it from every accursed devil Except for one who eavesdrops, and is followed by a clear shooting star We protected the lower heaven from every devil whom God had stoned and cursed But the devils may eavesdrop on what is happening in heaven Then a shooting star from the Fire follows him, showing its impact on him Either by ruining it or by burning it We spread the earth and placed mountains in it and made it grow And We caused therein to grow every thing in balance We flattened the earth, spread it out, and placed stable mountains on its backs And We caused everything to grow on earth with a decreed and known limit And We have provided for you therein sustenance, and for those for whom you do not have provision And make us a livelihood for you, O people, on earth And make us therein those for whom you are not providers Of slaves, female slaves, animals, and livestock There is nothing but with Us its treasures, and We do not send it down except in a known measure There is no rain but its stores are with Us, and We do not send it down except in proportion to each land whose limit and amount are known to Us. And We sent the fertilizing winds, and We sent down water from the sky, and gave you water to drink, but you are not its keepers And We sent the winds to fertilize, and they are fertilizing, and their pollinating is carried by water And its pollination of the clouds and trees, it made it into it, and We sent down rain from the sky So we gave you that rain to drink for your land and your livestock You are not the storeper of the water that We sent down, so you prevent him from giving me water Because that is in my hand, I can give it to whomever I want Indeed, We can revive whoever is dead if We wish and kill whoever is alive if We wish We inherit the earth and those on it by killing all of them, leaving no one alive except us We have known those who came forward among you, and We have known those who are coming back Indeed, it is your Lord who will gather them. Indeed, He is Wise and Knowing We have already known that the dead among you, O children of Adam, are about to die We have learned of the latecomers whose death was delayed And indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, will gather all the first ones and the last ones with Him on the Day of Resurrection Your Lord is Wise in His management of His creation, Knowing of their numbers and deeds The living among them, the dead, the early ones, and the late ones We created man from clay from aged sludge We created Adam from dry clay that had not been touched by fire When I clicked on it, he prayed, and I heard a squeak of clay turning black We created the jinn before from the fire of toxins We created Satan before Adam from the fire of hot toxins that kill And when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I am creating human beings, human beings, from clay, from molten clay.” When I have shaped him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down and prostrate before him And remember, O Muhammad, when God said, “Indeed, I will create human beings from dry clay that will change to black.” If I created him, then prostrate to him So, I created him and formed him, then modified his image I breathed My Spirit into him and he became a living human being They prostrated before him as a greeting and honor, not a prostration of worship So the angels prostrated, all of them together Except Satan, who refused to be with those who prostrated When God created that human being and breathed the soul into him The angels all prostrated themselves together Except for Satan, for he refused to be with those who prostrated He did not prostrate to him with them out of arrogance, envy, and transgression He said, O Satan, why should you not be with those who prostrate? He said: I would not prostrate to a human being whom I created from clay from aged sludge God said, “What prevents you from being with those who prostrate?” Satan said: I would not prostrate to a human being whom I created from clay and who I am from fire And fire eats clay He said, "Get out of it, for you are excommunicated." And you will be cursed until the Day of Judgment God said, come out of it, for you are cursed And if God becomes angry with you by removing you from the heavens and expelling you from them Until the day of reward and that is the Day of Resurrection He said, “My Lord, wait for me until the day they are resurrected.” He said, "You are one of the theoreticians." Until the appointed day Satan said, “My Lord, if you take me out of the heavens and curse me.” So delay me until the day you raise your creation from their graves So you gather them to the place of resurrection God said to him, “You are among those who have delayed your destruction.” Until the day of the appointed time for the destruction of all my creation My Lord said, “Because you have led me astray, We will certainly beautify them on earth.” And I will seduce them all Except Your sincere servants among them Satan said, “My Lord, you have tempted me.” If they did good to them, they would disobey you And we would love it to them on earth And I will mislead them from the path of guidance Except for the one whom You have saved with Your grace and whose guidance you have guided This is something I have no control over and no power over He said: This is a straight path for me My servants, you have no authority over them except those of those who go astray who follow you God said this is the way back to me So I will reward everyone for his deeds My servants, you have no argument against them Except for those who follow you in the misguidance you have called them to, those who go astray and are destroyed And Hell is the appointed time for all of them It has seven doors, each of which has a divided section Indeed, Hell is a rendezvous for all who follow you Hell has seven dishes For each dish of Satan's followers, there is a portion and a divided share The righteous will be in gardens and springs Enter it safely and securely And We removed the rancor from their breasts, brothers Brothers in beds facing each other No calamity will touch them therein, and they will not be able to escape from it Those who fear God by obeying Him and fear Him In gardens and eyes They are told to enter it in peace, safe from God's punishment We brought out the hatred and grudge in the hearts of these pious people towards each other Brothers facing each other He does not turn around and look at his back These pious people are not touched by fatigue And there are no two exits from Paradise and its bliss Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
