The methods employed by missionaries to achieve their objectives.
Among the most significant of these methods:
First:
Converting as many Muslims as possible to Christianity.
Even if this is not the primary goal,
as Zwemer stated,
it nonetheless serves to shake the faith of others and dampen their resolve.
Second:
Establishing nurseries, schools, and colleges
sponsored by missionary organizations throughout the Islamic world.
They have succeeded in this to a great extent in Africa,
where the number of educational institutes
has reached approximately 16,670.
Colleges and universities number 500,
and kindergartens have exceeded 1,113.
Furthermore, theological schools specialized in graduating priests, monks, and missionaries
number 489.
The number of Muslim children
studying in institutions sponsored by missionary organizations
exceeds 5 million.
Third:
Concealing the motives of missionary work
under the guise of humanitarian aid, medical assistance, and food supplies.
This is done so that missionary work does not clash with the distinct Muslim doctrine of loyalty and disavowal (al-wala' wa al-bara').
And to weaken this doctrine in the hearts of Muslims through such aid.
In recent years, they have focused their efforts on Indonesia and Bangladesh.
Fourth:
Focusing on corrupting the Islamic countryside, which is known for its adherence to Islamic traditions,
by establishing social, vocational, and health centers,
and organizing programs for settling nomads and eradicating illiteracy,
in order to infiltrate the minds of the majority of segments of Muslim populations.
Fifth:
Focusing on corrupting Muslim women through clubs, women's associations, and their destructive activities,
such as fashion shows, promotional parties, skill-development programs, and the like.
Sixth:
Encouraging birth control among Muslims
to reduce their numbers as much as possible,
while simultaneously encouraging Christians and non-Islamic sects to increase their offspring.
Seventh:
Consuming the efforts of Muslim scholars in resisting missionary ideologies,
to cause them to miss opportunities to work toward the advancement of Muslims,
and to hinder their productive efforts in that regard.
Eighth:
Monitoring the Islamic world and spying upon it,
gauging the pulse of the Ummah,
and tracking Islamic movements.
The connection between missionary missions and international intelligence circles has been proven.
