Saying *Allāhu Akbar* (magnification) and *SubḥānAllāh* (glorification) before sleeping.
Narrated by 'Alī (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
said, when Fāṭimah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked him for a servant:
"Shall I not direct you both to something that is better for you than a servant?
When you go to your bed,
or take your places for rest,
say *Allāhu Akbar* thirty-four times,
say *SubḥānAllāh* thirty-three times,
and say *Alḥamdulillāh* thirty-three times.
For this is better for you both than a servant."
