00:00:00.850 --> 00:00:06.129
Confirmed Sunnah practices of the Prophet.

00:00:06.129 --> 00:00:11.919
Saying *Allāhu Akbar* (magnification) and *SubḥānAllāh* (glorification) before sleeping.

00:00:11.919 --> 00:00:15.679
Narrated by 'Alī (may Allah be pleased with him):

00:00:15.679 --> 00:00:19.039
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

00:00:19.039 --> 00:00:24.320
said, when Fāṭimah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked him for a servant:

00:00:24.320 --> 00:00:29.679
"Shall I not direct you both to something that is better for you than a servant?

00:00:30.190 --> 00:00:33.070
When you go to your bed,

00:00:33.070 --> 00:00:36.030
or take your places for rest,

00:00:36.030 --> 00:00:39.229
say *Allāhu Akbar* thirty-four times,

00:00:39.229 --> 00:00:42.429
say *SubḥānAllāh* thirty-three times,

00:00:42.429 --> 00:00:45.789
and say *Alḥamdulillāh* thirty-three times.

00:00:45.789 --> 00:00:49.740
For this is better for you both than a servant."

00:00:49.740 --> 00:00:52.060
Agreed upon.
