00:00:00,140 --> 00:00:03,520
Ramadan Hadiths

2
00:00:03,520 --> 00:00:10,060
On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, may Allah be pleased with them both,

3
00:00:10,060 --> 00:00:14,820
that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

4
00:00:14,820 --> 00:00:20,670
"Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection.

5
00:00:20,670 --> 00:00:22,899
Fasting will say,

6
00:00:22,899 --> 00:00:24,399
'O my Lord,

7
00:00:24,399 --> 00:00:28,460
I restrained him from food and desires during the day,

8
00:00:28,460 --> 00:00:30,679
so allow me to intercede for him.'

9
00:00:31,170 --> 00:00:33,570
And the Qur’an will say,

10
00:00:33,570 --> 00:00:36,170
'I restrained him from sleep during the night,

11
00:00:36,170 --> 00:00:38,659
so allow me to intercede for him.'

12
00:00:38,659 --> 00:00:39,859
He said,

13
00:00:39,859 --> 00:00:41,619
'And so they will both intercede.'"
