Ramadan Hadiths
On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, may Allah be pleased with them both,
that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection.
Fasting will say,
'O my Lord,
I restrained him from food and desires during the day,
so allow me to intercede for him.'
And the Qur’an will say,
'I restrained him from sleep during the night,
so allow me to intercede for him.'
He said,
'And so they will both intercede.'"
