The essence of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah
Regarding one who understood what he heard but did not benefit from it
Regarding one who understood but neither hearing nor intellect benefited him
It is as if he neither heard nor comprehended
The people of the Fire will say
“And they say: Had we been wont to listen or have sense, we had not been among the dwellers in the flames.” (67:10)
And the reason for this negation returns to the corruption of their hearing and the corruption of their intellect
