Misunderstanding of Islam
Some people think either out of ignorance of the truth of Islam
Or out of whims and fallacy
That is the standard of any religion before
He is a believing Muslim
If he had remained in his religion after the mission of our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
They base their opinion on the words of God Almighty
Those who believe, those who are Jews, the Christians, and the Sabians are those who believe in God and the Last Day and do righteous deeds
They will have their reward with their Lord, and they will have no fear, nor will they grieve
This is a skewed understanding
Because the verse was revealed regarding those who died following monotheism, whether Christians, Jews, or Sabians
Before the mission of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
After his mission, may God bless him and grant him peace
Everyone must believe in him and follow him
It is not enough for him to be a monotheist while remaining committed to his religion and not following him, may God bless him and grant him peace
Because disbelief in Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, after his mission
He disbelieved in Moses and Jesus, peace be upon them
God Almighty said
And when God took a covenant from the prophets regarding the Book and wisdom I have given you
Then a messenger came to you confirming what is with you, so that you may believe in the Prophet and support him
He said, “You agreed and took my insistence on that.”
They said we agreed
He said, “Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.”
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
By the One in whose hand is Muhammad’s soul
No one in this nation, Jew or Christian, has ever heard of me
Then he dies and does not believe in what you sent him with
Unless he is one of the companions of Hell
