Seeking Reward in Spending on One's Family
On the authority of Abu Mas'ud al-Badri (may Allah be pleased with him),
on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said:
"When a Muslim spends on his family seeking reward from Allah,
it is written as a charity for him."
