Ash'ari interpretation of attributes
The Ash'ari interpret the names and attributes of God as one of the seven attributes that they established for God through reason
They are life, knowledge, ability, will, hearing, sight, and speech
Most of what they do is interpret any other attribute other than those seven attributes
Either by ability or by will
If they do not find the interpretation acceptable, they resort to delegation
That is, delegating the intended meaning of the attribute to God Almighty and ceasing to explain its meaning
They justify this by claiming that God Almighty is above the resemblance of created beings
According to them, exaltation comes in one of two ways: interpretation or delegation
Their speaker says so
And every text is an illusion or a simile or a metaphor or a metaphor for its purification
