Summary of Sunni concepts
Most of those who know the affairs of this world are heedless of the afterlife
Most people of knowledge and experience with the affairs of this world ignore the afterlife and go far astray from it
You see them as a polytheist who worships idols, like the Japanese who worship Buddha
Or one of the People of the Book who polytheize God, or an atheist who denies the existence of God, like many European and American scholars
And God Almighty spoke the truth when he said
They know what is apparent from the life of this world, but they are heedless of the Hereafter
It is assumed that progress in worldly sciences will lead them to believe in the Creator of the universe
And realizing the purpose of their creation, as God Almighty said
We will show them Our signs on the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth
Isn't it enough for your Lord that He is a witness over everything?
But this is only the case of those whom God has guided to guidance, and they are few
Their faith will then be firm, stemming from awareness of the evidence of truth in the universe
