Allah the Exalted spoke the truth when He said:

“They know only some appearance of the life of the world, and are heedless of the Hereafter.” (30:7)

It is assumed that advancement in worldly sciences would guide them to believe in the Creator of the universe,

and to realize the purpose of their creation, as the Exalted says:
