A new challenge from me
I am one of the companions of the Ansar
One of the eight who met the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Mecca
He offered us Islam and we converted to Islam
We paved the way for Islam in Medina
Then we brought him the next year
So we pledged allegiance to him in the first pledge of allegiance to Aqaba
And in the following year
We pledged allegiance to him in the Second Pledge of Aqaba
I was one of those who were keen on cleansing myself with water
And among my companions, the Almighty’s saying was revealed
There are men who love to purify themselves
God loves those who purify themselves
After the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
The Ansar gathered in Saqifa Bani Saida
To choose the successor
So I and Maan bin Adi, may God be pleased with him, left among them
So we met Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq
And Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with them both
They want Saqifa Bani Saida
So we mentioned to them what the people agreed upon
We asked them where they wanted to go
He said: We want our brothers from the Ansar
So we said to them: No, you should not approach them
I fulfill your command
I lived until the caliphate of the Commander of the Faithful Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him
When she died
Omar, may God be pleased with him, stood at my grave and said
No one on earth can say
He is better than the owner of this grave
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not erect a banner
Unless he is under her shade
