00:00:00.180 --> 00:00:04.179
What is the reward for fasting the day of 'Ashura?

00:00:04.179 --> 00:00:08.720
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

00:00:08.720 --> 00:00:11.820
"And regarding fasting the day of 'Ashura,

00:00:11.820 --> 00:00:16.820
I hope that Allah will expiate [the sins of] the preceding year."
