The news spread throughout the island
Some of those who had weak faith apostatized
Some of them claimed to be prophets
Among them are the lions of Ansi in Yemen
He was famous and eloquent
He can convince the public
With his sweet words and the sleight of his hand
Until many people followed him
When the news reached the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Send a message to us in Yemen
He urges us to nip this strife in the bud
He commands us to get rid of the black one
So she quickly implemented the order of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
So I agreed with my cousin Azad to kill him
Azad is the wife of Al-Aswad Al-Ansi

So I sneaked into Al-Aswad Al-Ansi's palace
Azad opened doors for me
And when it got dark
I entered the palace
I found my cousin waiting for me at the door of his room
She pointed to me where the enemy of God Al-Aswad Al-Ansi was sleeping
So I entered the room and went to his bed
So she hit him on the neck with a sword
It started making a sound like cows mooing
When the guards heard the sound
They headed to the room
They asked what this was
My cousin said to them
Go away, for this is a prophet of God to whom revelation comes
So they left
I stayed inside the palace until dawn
Then I headed to the palace wall
So I stood over him and raised the call to prayer
Until I testified that Muhammad is the Messenger of God
Then I said
I bear witness that Al-Aswad Al-Ansi is a liar
When Muslims heard the call to prayer
They came from all sides
The guards confronted them
So I threw the head of the black lion at them
So they retreated
And in the city
The news came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, from heaven
So he went out preaching to the people
And he said
Al-Aswad Al-Ansi was killed yesterday
A blessed man killed him
From a blessed household
