A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.
Among the benefits of the struggle between the people of truth and falsehood:
Allah has decreed that His defense of those who believe shall be carried out through their own efforts.
He did not make it a gift that descends upon them from the heavens without any exertion.
Allah the Almighty says:
"That is so; and if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them Himself."
"But He does so to test some of you by means of others."
Among the benefits of this:
The testing of both the people of truth and the people of falsehood.
As the verse has clarified.
And as it is stated in the hadith qudsi:
"I have only sent you to test you and to test others through you."
Narrated by Muslim.
Furthermore, in the struggle against falsehood,
there is a maturation and a clarification of the truth and its people.
For the human constitution does not awaken all the latent energies within it
except when it faces danger.
The truth becomes illuminated and manifest whenever it is challenged by falsehood,
as its proofs and evidences become clear.
Thus, the veracity of the truth and its reality are revealed.
