Interpretation in the Holy Quran
The word interpretation appears in the Holy Qur’an in connection with three things
Bible verses, visions and actions
In all of them, it is compatible with the linguistic meaning
Concerning the interpretation of the verses of the Book, God Almighty said:
Do they only consider its interpretation?
The day its interpretation comes, those who forgot it before will say, “The messengers of our Lord have brought the truth.”
Its interpretation means the fulfillment of its promise and threat on the Day of Resurrection
This will come true and happen on the Day of Resurrection
It is most likely what is meant by the similar interpretation
Contained in the Almighty’s saying
It is He who revealed to you the Book, including decisive verses that are the mother of the Book
And other similarities
As for those in whose hearts there is deviation, they follow what is similar to it
Seeking sedition and seeking its interpretation
Only God knows its interpretation
And those who are deeply rooted in knowledge say, “We believe in it, it is all from our Lord.”
And only men of understanding remember
Where those in whose hearts there is deviation want to understand the similar verses
According to what they understand in this world and achieving it based on this understanding
This is as Abu Jahl understood from the number of the keepers of Hell, nineteen
They are like humans and can be defeated by more people
He wanted to mislead people and remove their fear of entering Hell
The truth and reality is that no one knows its interpretation except God
There is no way for humans to know its truth and its outcome
Except after it happens on the Day of Resurrection
As for the interpretation of visions
It was mentioned in Surat Yusuf in several places
All in the sense of realizing the vision in reality
Including what Joseph said to his father, peace be upon them
O Father, this is the interpretation of a vision from before that my Lord has made true
That is, this is the interpretation of a vision and its realization in reality
What is the interpretation of actions?
Among them is what Al-Khidr said to Moses, peace be upon him, at the end of his story with him
That is the interpretation of what you did not have patience for
That is, this is the truth about the actions and things you did that you denied and marveled at
She couldn't wait to find out her truth
This is also the saying of Mrs. Aisha, may God be pleased with her
May God bless him and grant him peace, he used to say while bowing
Glory be to You, O God, our Lord, and praise be to You
Oh God, forgive me
The Qur’an is interpreted
Agreed
Her saying is interpreted in the Qur’an
That is, he fulfills what God commanded him to do in his book from the Almighty’s words
So praise your Lord and ask His forgiveness
The term interpretation is also used to refer to interpretation
As in the words of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Ibn Abbas
Oh God, grant him understanding of religion and teach him interpretation
