A new challenge from me
I am one of the companions and one of the leaders of Quraish, my brother Abu Jahl
And my cousin Khaled bin Al-Walid, may God be pleased with him
I witnessed the day of Badr while I was in disbelief
So I fled to Mecca when I saw the defeat of the polytheists
And the killing of my brothers Abu Jahl and Al-Aas
Then I converted to Islam on the day of the conquest of Mecca
It witnessed the Battle of Hunayn
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave it
One hundred camels from the spoils of Hunayn
With the reconciliation of their hearts
So my Islam improved and I said
I will not abandon the valley I took in the fight against the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Unless you take it for the sake of God
I will not spare a dime that I spent fighting him
Unless you spend the same amount in obedience to God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
I asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, one day and I said:
O Messenger of God, tell me something to adhere to
He said, “I will rule over you,” and pointed to his tongue
I thought it was easy, as I spoke little
I did not stop him
When I intended to take into account my logic and language
So there is nothing worse than it
I was generous and a beloved poet among the people of Mecca
When I decided to go out to fight for the sake of God
The people of Mecca were greatly alarmed
Not one of them remained but came out to cheer me up
When I was at the top of Al-Butha
I stood up and people stood around me crying
When I saw their alarm, I said:
Oh people
By God, I did not deviate from my desire for yours
To choose a country from your country
But that was it
Then men who preceded us came out to God
By God, we never met one of their days
By God, they brought it to us in this world
Let us seek to share it with them in the afterlife
O people, it is the transfer to God Almighty
Then I headed to the Levant
So I was wounded in the Battle of Yarmouk
And I fell lying on the ground
So I called for water to drink
When the water reached me
He looked at Akramah
He was also injured
So I said: Push the water to Akramah
When Ikrimah took it
Ayyash looked at him
And he said
Give it to Ayyash
The water did not reach Ayyash
Until he died
So they returned the water to Akramah
So he died
So they brought me water
So if I have overflowed my soul
