A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.
Various forms of extremism that are left unaddressed.
Extremism is entirely blameworthy and rejected.
Yet, unfortunately, we see today a selective approach to criticizing extremism.
Many limit their criticism to only certain types.
While criticizing those types is undoubtedly necessary.
They refrain from speaking out against other forms.
True justice and the correct balance.
Is to criticize extremism in all its forms and manifestations.
And to clarify its danger to both the religion and the soul.
And to the preservation of the five essentials.
Among the forms of extremism that are left unaddressed:
First, the extremism of elevating men and raising them above their proper status.
Such as the extremism of the Rawafid regarding their Imams.
And the extremism of some Sufis regarding their shaykhs.
And the blind partisanship for certain scholars.
By prioritizing their opinions over the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
And the extremism of praising rulers, displaying their images, and glorifying them.
Second:
The extremism of the hypocrites among the liberals and secularists.
By flooding the lands with doubts and base desires.
And their audacity toward the religion and its fundamental tenets.
Such as the implementation of the Shari'ah and Jihad in the path of Allah.
And the hijab, and so on.
And their beautification of the religion of the disbelievers.
Third:
The extremism of the Rawafid in declaring the Ahl al-Sunnah to be disbelievers.
And their torturing and killing of them whenever they gain power over them.
As occurred in Iraq and Syria.
Fourth:
The extremism of some who claim to follow the Sunnah.
Those influenced by Irja'i thought in their hostility toward some scholars and callers of the Ahl al-Sunnah.
And toward those who strive in the path of Allah.
Conversely, they go to extremes in heaping praise upon oppressors.
And seeking excuses for them.
And labeling anyone who criticizes them as an innovator or a Khariji.
Fifth:
The extremism of tyrants.
They take the enemies of Allah as allies and show hostility toward His allies.
And they cause them to disappear into prisons and detention centers.
Sixth:
The extremism of both the disbelieving West and East in their disbelief.
And their oppression and war against Islam and its people.
As the Americans did in Afghanistan and Iraq.
And the news of the Rohingya in Myanmar.
And the Uyghurs in China.
Is not far from us.
It is regrettable.
That every extremist from the aforementioned groups.
Describes themselves with all sorts of beautiful, deceptive labels.
Such as moderation, balance, liberation, and enlightenment.
And so on.
In contrast to that.
They accuse the people of the truth of extremism and radicalism.
Much like the proverb says:
"She accused me of her own affliction and slipped away."
