In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari Surat Al-Saffat In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful And among his followers are Abraham When he came to his Lord with a sound heart When he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?” What gods besides God do you want? What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds? And whoever promoted Noah to follow his method and religion belonged to Abraham, the friend of the Most Merciful When Abraham came to his Lord with a heart free from polytheism Sincere to him is monotheism When he said to his father and his people Anything you worship Do you want any deity other than God? So what do you people think will be done to you? You threw him away while you worshiped someone else He looked at the stars He said I was stupid So they turned away from him, retreating He looked at the stars He mentioned that his people were astrologists He saw a star rising He twisted his head and said I'm stabbed Rather, Abraham wants them to leave him So they turned away from Abraham, turning away from him For fear that they would be infected with the disease he was reported to have He turned to their gods and said, “Don’t you eat?” Why do you not speak? What then to their gods after they departed from it and turned away? So he brought the food to her When he did not see her eating He said to her: Why don't you eat? He did not see her speak He said to her: Don't you eat? Why do you not speak? mocking her Spare them a right-hand strike So they came to him marrying He said: Do you worship what you degrade? God created you and what you do So he turned to his people's gods and struck them with his right hand With an ax in his hand he breaks it So they came to him in a hurry Abraham said to his people O people, do you worship the idols you put down with your own hands? God created you, people, and created you Or the one from which you make idols It is wood and copper And the things that they used to degrade their idols They said, Build him a building and throw him into hell They intended a plot against him, so We made them the lowest Abraham's people said, "Build a building for Abraham." It was mentioned that they built a structure for him that resembled an oven Then they brought the wood to him and lit a fire on it So throw him into hell And hell for the Arabs Coals of fire, one upon another, and fire upon fire So Abraham's people plotted against Abraham by burning him with fire So We made the humiliated people of Abraham a proof We defeated Abraham over them by argument He said: I am going to my Lord and He will guide me Lord, grant me among the righteous Abraham said when God saved him from their plot I am an immigrant from my country of origin to the Holy Land And when he departs from them, he withdraws from them to worship God He will keep me steadfast on the guidance that I have seen And he helps me with it O Lord, grant me a son from you who will be among the righteous Those who obey you and do not disobey you They are righteous in the land and do not cause corruption So we gave him good tidings of a gentle boy When he reached the end of the quest with him He said, “My son, I see him in a dream.” I will slaughter you, so see what you see He said, Father, do as you are told You will find me, God willing, among the patient ones So We gave Abraham good tidings of a dreamy boy when he grew up When the boy to whom Ibrahim gave the good news reached the work Ibrahim said My son, I see in a dream that I am slaughtering you So see what you order His son told him O father, do what your Lord commands you to do regarding my slaughter You will find me, God willing, patient among those who are patient What our Lord commands us to do When they converted to Islam, he turned it to the forehead And we called him, “O Abraham.” The vision has come true Indeed, We reward the doers of good This is the clear affliction When they surrendered, God commanded them And his epilepsy is for the forehead The two foreheads are together, the right and the left of the forehead And we called him, “O Abraham.” You have believed the vision that we showed you in your dream We ordered you to slaughter your son Isaac We rewarded you with our obedience, O Abraham Thus We reward those who do good and obey Our command If we command you, O Abraham, to slaughter your son It is a test that shows whoever thinks about it It is a severe affliction and a great ordeal We ransomed him with a great sacrifice We left it to others Peace be upon Ibrahim Thus do We reward the doers of good He is one of our faithful servants We rewarded your son Isaac By making the place of his slaughter the slaughter of a great ram And We preserved for him and after him, until the Day of Resurrection, good praise A security from God on earth for Abraham He will not be mentioned after him except with beautiful remembrance We also rewarded Abraham for his obedience and kindness Thus do We reward the doers of good Abraham is one of our sincere servants who have faith And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous We blessed him and Isaac Among their descendants is a doer of good and a clear one who is unjust to himself And We gave Abraham good news of Isaac as a prophet Thank him for his kindness and obedience We blessed Abraham and Isaac Among their descendants is a believer who is obedient to God and virtuous in his obedience A disbeliever in God has made his own injustice clear by his disbelief in God And We bestowed favor on Moses and Aaron And We saved them and their people from great distress And We helped them, and they were victorious We preferred Moses and Aaron So We made them prophets And We saved them and their people from grief and great calamity In which they were among the servants of the family of Pharaoh And from what We destroyed with Pharaoh We granted them victory over Pharaoh and his family by drowning them They were the ones who prevailed over them And We gave them the clear Book And We guided them to the straight path We left them to others Peace be upon Moses and Aaron This is how We reward the doers of good They are among our faithful servants And We gave Moses and Aaron the Torah And We guided Moses and Aaron to the straight path in which Jag turned Islam is the religion of God We left others after them with good praise for them Peace be upon Moses and Aaron This is how we reward those who obey us Moses and Aaron are among our servants who are sincere to us in faith And Elias is one of the messengers When he said to his people, “Do not be fearful.” Do you call on Baal and leave the best of creators? And Elias bin Yasin bin Finhas Ibn Al-Ezar bin Harun bin Imran To one of the senders When he said to his people about the children of Israel O people, do you not fear God and fear Him? Do you call upon God and claim to worship someone better than the one who is called a Creator? And Baal was said to be usury It is a language of the people of Yemen It was said that he is Zalm, called Baal This is why it was named Baalbek It was said that Baal was a woman they worshiped God is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers That is your deity, people, who deserves your worship Your Lord who created you And the Lord of your fathers who came before you An idol that does not create anything and does no harm or benefit But they denied him, for they will not be brought Except sincere servants of God We left it to others Peace be upon Eliasin This is how We reward the doers of good He is one of our faithful servants So Elias lied to his people For they will be present at the punishment of God and will witness it Except the servants of God whom He saved from torment We kept good praise for him from other nations after him A blessing from God for the Yassin family This is how we reward those who obey us and do good Elias is one of our servants who believed and united us They did not associate anything with us Indeed, Lot was one of the messengers When We saved him and all his family Except an old man among those who left behind Then we destroyed the others Indeed, Lot was one of the messengers When We saved Lot and all his family And it is from the torment that We inflicted upon his people Except an old man among the rest She is Lot's wife Then we threw stones at them from above So We destroyed them with that And you pass by them in the morning And at night, do you not understand? God Almighty says mention it to the polytheists of Quraysh And you are passing by the people of our homeland whom we have destroyed When you wake up during the day and at night Do you not have minds with which to contemplate and think? So you will know that whoever follows the path of these people A punishment from God was inflicted on them similar to what was inflicted on them for their disbelief in God And Yunus was one of the messengers As he stayed to the charged ark So he contributed and was one of the lucky ones The whale swallowed it and it was a laxative And Yunus was one of the messengers sent to their people When he fled to the ark filled with the venerable cargo So he fought and was one of the defeated The whale swallowed him and he took the blame Had he not been one of those who praise Him To remain in his stomach until the day they are resurrected Had Yunus not been one of those who prayed to God, he would have accepted the calamity that afflicted him He would remain trapped in the belly of the whale until the day God resurrects his creation But he was one of those who remembered God before the calamity So God remembered him in times of calamity So he saved him and saved him
