I am one of the immigrant companions
Came to Mecca before Islam
When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sent
I followed him and converted to Islam
Then I returned to my people in Yemen
I invite them to God Almighty
I remained in that state until I heard about the migration of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
To the city
So I went out to him, with fifty-few men of my people with me
So we rode the sea
So we answered
So our ship took us to the land of the Negus, may God be pleased with him, in Abyssinia
We met Jaafar bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, with him
So we stayed with him
Until we came to the city in the seventh year of the Hijra
So we agreed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, when he conquered Khaybar
He, peace and blessings be upon him, said to us
You, O people of the ship, have two migrations
I used to have a good voice reciting the Qur’an
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me
You have been given a flute from the flutes of the family of David
I prayed one night in the mosque
The wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, heard my voice
So we listened to my reading
So when I became
I was told that the Mothers of the Believers used to listen to your reading at night
So I said, “If I had known, I would have loved to read as a lesson.”
I'm longing for excitement
Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, used to say to me
We mentioned our Lord Almighty
So I read the Qur’an to them
Sometimes I prayed for people
They wish that if I recited Surat Al-Baqarah, my voice would be good
After the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
The Commander of the Faithful, Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, sent me to Basra
To teach people the Qur’an
And the people said
No rider comes to Basra better for its people than me
Then a delegation from the people of Basra came to Omar, may God be pleased with him
He asked them about me
They said: We let him teach people the Qur’an
He said, may God be pleased with him
But it's a bag
I gathered those who recited the Qur’an to me in Basra
So they were close to three hundred
So the Qur’an was venerated among them
Then I said: This Qur’an is intended for you as a reward
And there will be a minister upon you
So follow the Qur’an
And do not follow you the Qur’an
For he is the one who follows the Qur’an
He landed in the Garden of Paradise
And whoever follows the Qur’an
He was stuck in the back of his mouth
So he threw him into the fire
And before my death
I worked very hard at worship
So I was told
If you catch yourself and take it easy
So I said
If the horses are sent
The end is near
She took out everything she had
Which left me with less than that
