In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari Surat Al-Anbiya In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful And who among them says that I am a god besides Him? For that We reward Hell. Thus We reward the wrongdoers Who says he is one of the angels? I am a god without God That will cause him to hell And just as We reward those of the angels who say so I am a god without God, hell Likewise, We reward everyone who wrongs himself So he disbelieved in God and worshiped someone else Have not those who disbelieved seen that the heavens and the earth were joined together and We separated them? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not believe? Did not those who disbelieved in God look with the eyes of their hearts and believe it? They know that the heavens and the earth do not contain a hole Rather, they were attached So we cracked them open and released them The heavens were pure and no rain fell from them The land was barren and no plants could emerge from it So God separated them And We revive everything with the water that We send down from the sky Wouldn't they believe that? They acknowledge the divinity of the one who did this and single him out for worship And We have placed firm mountains in the earth, lest it move with them, and We have placed therein broad paths that they may be guided Has he not seen these infidels? We have placed firm mountains on the earth so that they cannot be sufficient for people And let them be able to stand firm on its back We have made paths easy on the earth for them to be guided to walk therein And We made the sky a protected roof And they turn away from its signs And We made the sky a fixed roof for the earth And We protected it from every accursed devil And these polytheists ignore the signs of heaven Its sun, moon and stars They refuse to think about it It indicates the oneness of its Creator It is He who created the night and the day, the sun and the moon Everyone swims in an orbit It is God who created for you, people, night and day A blessing from Him upon you And an indication of his great authority And that divinity belongs to him, to the exclusion of everything else He also created the sun and the moon All in a circle running We did not assign immortality to humans before you How do you understand the immortals? Every soul will taste death We will test you with evil and good as a trial And to us you will return We did not immortalize any of the children of Adam before you in this world, so we will immortalize you in it You must die as our messengers died before you Are these polytheists of their Lord the ones who will live forever in this world after you? Rather, they are dead no matter whether you live or die Every soul is created by Him Treating death's throat and drinking its cup We test you, people, with hardship, prosperity, and abundance And they respond to us They will be rewarded for their good and bad deeds And when those who disbelieve see you, they will only take you in mockery Is this the one who mentions your gods? Is this the one who mentions your gods? And in the remembrance of the Most Gracious, they are disbelievers And when those who disbelieve in God see you, O Muhammad, they will not take you except as a mockery They say to each other Is this the one who mentions your gods badly and disgraces them? They marvel at your remembrance, O Muhammad, of their gods who do no harm or benefit And they are disbelievers in the remembrance of the Most Gracious, who created them and bestowed upon them Man was created from a calf I will show you My signs, so do not be in a hurry Adam was created hastily and quickly at that Because the setting of the sun appears in his creation In the last hour of the day on Friday I will show you, O you who are in a hurry, My signs just as I showed them before you among the nations that I destroyed Do not rush your Lord We will bring it to you and show you And they say: When will this promise come, if you are truthful? If only those who disbelieved knew when they would not keep the Fire from their faces When they do not protect the fire from their faces nor from their backs Nor behind their backs, nor will they be helped And these people who are in a hurry say to their Lord about signs and punishment When will this one who brings us back from torment come to us? If you are honest in what you tell us of that If these infidels who are hastening to know the punishment of their Lord, what calamity would be theirs? When their faces are engulfed by fire They will not protect the fire from their faces nor from their backs, so they can repel it They do not have a supporter to support them Then he will save them from God's punishment When they remained in the state of disbelief in God Rather, it comes to them suddenly and confuses them, so they are not able to return it They cannot return it nor are they looking This fire that burns the faces of the infidels does not come to them knowingly at its time But it comes to them as a surprise that they do not realize is coming Suddenly they faint They cannot bear it when you want them to push it away from themselves Nor do they delay the torment therein until they bring about repentance Because it is not an hour of repentance Rather, it is an hour of reward and reward Messengers before you were mocked, so punish those who mocked them. They were mocking him God Almighty says mentioning it to His Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace He mocked the messengers we sent before you So it became necessary and the calamity and torment were inflicted on those who mocked them These mockers will no longer be like their ancestors from the lying nations Then God’s torment and wrath will be inflicted upon them by their mockery of you, similar to what was inflicted upon them Say, O Muhammad, to her, those who are hastening to punish you Who protects you and guards you at night when you sleep? And during the day, if you take action from the command of the Most Gracious, if it descends upon you Why do they not know that there is no reward for them from the command of God? Rather, they turn away from mentioning the objections of their Lord and His proofs They do not turn away from the remembrance of their Lord and His proofs They do not consider this and are not considered Or do they have gods that prevent them from leaving us? They cannot help themselves, nor will they be accompanied by us Those who are in a hurry to punish their Lord are gods besides us Prevent them from us if we inflict upon them our torment How can their gods, which they call upon other than us, prevent them from us? They cannot defend themselves Nor are they our neighbors or companions And if they are not accompanied by the neighborhood They had no objection to God's punishment despite God's wrath upon them They were not accompanied by goodness, nor were they helped Their parents until they lived a long life Do they not see that We will come to the earth and reduce it from its outskirts? I understand the overcomers O polytheists, what gods do they have that prevents them from being apart from us? But We gave them enjoyment of this worldly life and their fathers before them Until their lives were prolonged while they remained in their disbelief They forgot our covenant and were ignorant of the position of our blessing upon them Do these polytheists not see God? To come to the land and destroy it from all sides We defeated its people, defeated them, evacuated them, and killed them with swords They consider this and seek refuge in it Are these polytheists the victors, and they have seen our oppression? Not so Rather, we are the victors Say, Muhammad I only warn you, O people, of the revelation of God which He reveals to me from Himself And I fear you with its distress The disbeliever does not listen to God by listening to his heart To remember what is in God’s revelation of promises and remembrance But he refuses to consider it and think about it The act of a deaf person who does not hear what is said to him and acts on it And if the whiff of your Lord’s punishment touches him, he will say, “Woe to us!” They will say: Woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers And if these people who are hasty in torment touch him, O Muhammad A share and share of your Lord’s punishment for their denial of you and their disbelief They will say: Woe to us! Indeed, we have been unjust in our worship of gods and equals We abandoned the worship of God, who created us and bestowed blessings upon us And We will set just balance for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be wronged in the slightest Even if it is the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it It is enough for us to be reckoners And We will set up just scales for the people of the Day of Resurrection, so God will not wrong a soul in the slightest By punishing him for a sin he did not commit, or depriving him of the reward for his work Even if he has done good deeds or he has done bad deeds The weight of a grain of mustard we brought, so we brought it to him And according to the effort of that position, we will be held accountable Because no one knows their deeds And there is no good or bad from us in the past in this world And We gave Moses and Aaron the Criterion and a bright light and a reminder for the righteous God made a distinction between Moses and Aaron and Pharaoh in truth And as a reminder to those who fear God by obeying Him and performing His duties and avoiding His sins Those who fear their Lord in the unseen and are anxious from the Hour We gave Moses and Aaron a reminder to the righteous Those who fear their Lord in the unseen lest He punish them in the Hereafter They are from the hour in which the Resurrection will take place They are wary lest it rise up against them and they respond to their Lord. They have neglected what is obligatory upon them for God He punishes them with punishment that they would not have accepted This is a blessed remembrance which We have sent down. So, do you deny it? This is the Qur’an that We sent down to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace A reminder to those who are reminded of it and an admonition to those who are advised by it Do you, O people, deny this book which We sent down to Muhammad?
