Whoever belittles the texts of the two revelations and dares to reject them based on his own desires and corrupt interpretations has not shown reverence for Allah the Almighty.
This is because showing reverence for someone's statement and submitting to it is a form of reverence for the one who said it and spoke it.
“Allah! There is no Allah save Him. He gathereth you all unto a Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. Who is more true in statement than Allah?” (4:87)
and He says: "And the Word of your Lord has been completed in truth and justice. None can change His words, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."
So, all of Allah's speech is truth in its narrations and justice in its rulings, whether they are commands or prohibitions.
