The Sunnah of distinguishing the bad from the good is related to the Sunnah of ingestion or results from it
So God Almighty says
God would not leave the believers in the state you are in until He distinguishes the bad from the good
Meaning, there must be a cause of distress in which his friend appears and his enemy is exposed
He identifies the patient believer and the immoral hypocrite
It is also the practice of distinguishing the bad from the good at the group level
It distinguishes a believer from a hypocrite, and a strong person in faith from a weak one
It is also at the individual level
It becomes clear to the believer the truth of his faith and the extent of his sincerity in it
It reveals to him the veils of vanity in himself
The reality is that it is weak in belief or morals
Then he works to rid himself of the malice and weakness in him
