“O ye who believe! Come, all of you, into submission (unto Him); and follow not the footsteps of the devil. Lo! he is an open enemy for you.” (2:208)

and do not follow the footsteps of Satan.

Indeed, he is to you an open enemy.

But if you slip after clear proofs have come to you,

then know that Allah is Almighty, All-Wise."

And he, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

"O people,

The Night of Decree was shown to me,

and I came out to inform you of it,

but two men came arguing with each other, accompanied by Satan,

and so I was made to forget it.

Therefore, seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan;

seek it on the ninth, the seventh, and the fifth."

Quarreling and animosity are a primary cause of being deprived of good,

for because of them, the exact knowledge of the Night of Decree was taken away.

Such disputes are among the footsteps of Satan,

00:01:36.099 --> 00:01:40.099
which the Qur'an has warned against following,

00:01:40.099 --> 00:01:45.099
because Satan seeks to sow enmity and hatred among people.

00:01:45.099 --> 00:01:47.099
So let us abandon malice,

00:01:47.099 --> 00:01:51.099
and unite under the banner of tolerance and brotherhood,

00:01:51.099 --> 00:01:56.099
which Allah has chosen for us and called us to uphold.
