Moderation in worship
Worship in Islam is a middle ground between those who are harsh and negligent in it and those who are hyperbolic and monastic
Those who go to extremes in worship are deceived by the life of this world, cling to it, and run after it
Their standards were all worldly materialistic
Explain who these people represent
The Jews whom God said about them
And you will find them the most eager of people to live, and of those who associate others with others.
Someone wishes to live for a thousand years
They are keen on life
So in disguise
Which benefits love of life, whatever it is
Even if it was an animal filled with instincts and desires
That is why they deserve to be described as being
Those who are angry with them
For their refusal to comply with legitimate orders
And they circumvent it for their worldly interests
And the gallons in worship
Their extremism pushed them to prohibit what God permitted
And the innovation of monasticism
Like the Christian monks and their servants
Those who have deprived themselves of marriage and good things as a means of livelihood
They saw this as an abomination from the work of Satan
They returned God's blessings to them
They were not guided to the truth in the matter of worship
They deserved to be described as lost
The former are people of division and immorality
The others are people of exaggeration, exaggeration, and innovation
All the predecessors had warned against them
The concept of moderation of worship occurs in Islam
Looking at the texts of the two revelations in this regard
And bring them together
To work some and leave others
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
The Mujahid is the one who strives against himself
He is the same one who said to the three who asked about his worship
It's like they said if it were
One of them said: As for me, I will pray all night forever
Another said: I will fast all the time and will not break my fast
Another said, “I avoid women.”
I will never get married
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
You are the ones who said such and such
By God, I am the most God-fearing and most God-fearing of you
But I fast, break my fast, pray, and sleep
And I marry women
Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me
In the first text, he urged diligence in worship
In the second, he forbade exaggeration in it and monasticism
His approach, may God bless him and grant him peace
Based on moderation and balance between rights and duties
And when Salman Al-Farsi said to Abu Darda, may God be pleased with him
Your Lord has a right over you
And for yourself you really have to
And your family has a right over you
So I give everyone his right
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Salman is right
Also, may God bless him and grant him peace
He permitted vows that were lawful
The rejected innovator was invalidated
When he saw a man standing
He asked about it and they said
He vowed to stand and not sit
He does not seek shade, does not speak, and fasts
He once said, "Let him speak."
And let him stay and sit
And let him fast
