In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
A Concise Summary of the Prophetic biography (Seerah).

The gathering of the Quraysh at Dar al-Nadwa.
Ibn Ishaq said:
When the Quraysh saw that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
had gained followers and companions from outside their own land,
and they observed the migration of his Companions to them,
they realized that they had settled in a secure territory,
and had found protection among them.
Thus, they feared the departure of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to join them,
and they knew that he had resolved to fight them.
Consequently, they gathered at Dar al-Nadwa,
consulting one another on what to do regarding the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, now that they feared him.
They arrived early on the day they had appointed for this meeting,
a day that came to be known as the "Day of the Throng."
Some said to others:
"You have seen what this man has done."
"By Allah, we are no longer safe from him launching an attack upon us, given those who have followed him from outside our ranks."
One of them said:
"Imprison him in chains,"
"and lock the door upon him."
"Then wait for him to meet the same fate as those poets who preceded him,"
"like Zuhayr and al-Nabigha, and those who died before him,"
"until he meets the same end as they did."
They rejected this proposal.
Then another said:
"Let us expel him from our midst,"
"and banish him from our land."
"Once he is cast out, by Allah, we will not care where he goes or where he ends up,"
"and our affairs and unity will be restored as they were before."
They rejected this proposal as well.
Then Abu Jahl—may Allah disgrace him—said:
"By Allah, I have a plan that none of you have yet considered."
They asked, "What is it, O Abu al-Hakam?"
He said:
"I propose we take a strong, young man from every tribe,"
"someone of noble lineage and standing among us."
"Then, we give each of them a sharp sword,"
"and they shall go to him,"
"and strike him as one man,"
"killing him so that we may be rid of him."
"For if they do that,"
"his blood will be divided among all the tribes,"
"and the Banu Abd Manaf will not be able to fight all their people combined."
"They will then accept the blood money (diya) from us,"
"and we shall pay it to them."
They agreed to this plan,
and the people dispersed, fully resolved to carry it out.
Allah the Almighty informs His Messenger, peace be upon him,
of the plot of the disbelievers of Quraysh.
Allah the Almighty informed His Messenger, peace be upon him,
of the plot the polytheists had devised against him,
and revealed to him the words of the Almighty:
“And when those who disbelieve plot against thee (O Muhammad) to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters.” (8:30)
And they plot, and Allah plots;
and Allah is the best of plotters.
Imam Ibn Jarir al-Tabari said in his Tafsir of this verse:
The interpretation of the statement is:
"Remember, O Muhammad, My favor upon you,"
"by My plotting against those who sought to plot against you from among the polytheists of your people,"
"whether by imprisoning you, killing you,"
"or expelling you from your homeland,"
"until I rescued you from them and destroyed them."
"So, I shall carry out My decree in the war against those of the polytheists who fought you,"
"and turned away from responding to the upright religion with which I sent you."
"Do not let their great numbers intimidate you,"
"for your Lord is the best of plotters against those who disbelieve in Him, worship others,"
"and defy His commands and prohibitions."
The duration of the Prophet's stay in Makkah before the migration (Hijrah).
Imam al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that he said:
"The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was commissioned at the age of forty."
"He remained in Makkah for thirteen years receiving revelation,"
"then he was commanded to migrate,"
"so he migrated for ten years,"
"and he passed away at the age of sixty-three."
Imam al-Nawawi said:
"They are in agreement that he, peace be upon him, stayed in Madinah after the migration for ten years,"
"and in Makkah before his prophethood for forty years."
"The disagreement is only regarding the length of his stay in Makkah after his prophethood."
"The correct view is that it was thirteen years,"
"making his age sixty-three."
"This which we have mentioned—that he was commissioned at the age of forty—"
"is the correct and well-known view upon which the scholars have converged."

If the longing of the worlds for some is great,
the longing for you, O Messenger of Allah, has no bounds.
May Allah send blessings upon you as long as the call to prayer is raised,
and lips move in remembrance.
