Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity.
On the authority of ‘Abdullah Ibn Mas‘ud, may Allah be pleased with him,
who reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Treat your sick with charity."
Recorded by al-Tabarani and classified as hasan (sound) by al-Albani.
Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"Indeed, there are remedies here that cure illnesses
which the minds of the greatest physicians have not been able to grasp,
and which their sciences and experiments have not reached,
consisting of spiritual and heart-centered remedies."
He continues, saying:
"We and others have experienced many such matters,
and we have seen them achieve what physical medicines cannot."
