1
00:00:00,850 --> 00:00:05,849
Among the established Sunnahs of the Prophet:

2
00:00:05,849 --> 00:00:11,640
Remembering Allah upon entering the home.

3
00:00:11,640 --> 00:00:17,309
Jabir ibn 'Abdillah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported:

4
00:00:17,309 --> 00:00:22,600
I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:

5
00:00:22,600 --> 00:00:24,600
"When a man enters his house

6
00:00:24,600 --> 00:00:30,600
and remembers Allah Almighty upon entering and before eating,

7
00:00:30,600 --> 00:00:32,600
Satan says [to his companions]:

8
00:00:32,600 --> 00:00:35,600
'You have no place to pass the night and no dinner.'

9
00:00:35,600 --> 00:00:39,890
But when he enters without remembering Allah upon entering,

10
00:00:39,890 --> 00:00:41,890
Satan says:

11
00:00:41,890 --> 00:00:43,890
'You have found a place to pass the night.'

12
00:00:43,890 --> 00:00:47,890
And if he does not remember Allah before eating,

13
00:00:47,890 --> 00:00:52,890
he says: 'You have found both a place to pass the night and dinner.'"

14
00:00:52,890 --> 00:00:55,299
Recorded by Muslim.
