Peace be upon them 00:00:08.580 --> 00:00:13.619 God's prayers are followed by peace 00:00:13.619 --> 00:00:19.160 For the good of all creatures 00:00:19.160 --> 00:00:23.160 Olu Azmin has a high reputation 00:00:23.160 --> 00:00:30.179 And the light of guidance... the story of Saleh, peace be upon him 00:00:30.179 --> 00:00:34.619 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 00:00:34.619 --> 00:00:37.619 Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds 00:00:37.619 --> 00:00:40.619 May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad 00:00:40.619 --> 00:00:44.619 And upon all his family and companions 00:00:44.619 --> 00:00:50.030 And yet... in the northwest of the Arabian Peninsula 00:00:50.030 --> 00:00:53.030 Between the Hijaz region and Tabuk 00:00:53.030 --> 00:00:56.030 It was inhabited by the Thamud tribe 00:00:56.030 --> 00:00:59.030 In an area called Al-Hijr 00:00:59.030 --> 00:01:02.030 Far from the Prophet's city 00:01:02.030 --> 00:01:05.030 Approximately 400 km 00:01:05.030 --> 00:01:07.030 It is an Arab tribe 00:01:07.030 --> 00:01:11.030 Its people were arrogant and evil people 00:01:11.030 --> 00:01:14.030 They were also luxurious 00:01:14.030 --> 00:01:17.030 That is, skilled carvers on mountains 00:01:17.030 --> 00:01:20.030 God gave them strength in their bodies 00:01:20.030 --> 00:01:23.030 They began carving houses out of the mountains 00:01:23.030 --> 00:01:26.030 And they build palaces in the plains 00:01:26.030 --> 00:01:31.030 Despite this, God has expanded their livelihood 00:01:31.030 --> 00:01:35.030 They had orchards, crops, and palm trees 00:01:35.030 --> 00:01:38.030 And God has established them on earth 00:01:38.030 --> 00:01:41.030 They lived for a long time 00:01:41.030 --> 00:01:44.030 And they live in the land for a long time 00:01:44.030 --> 00:01:48.060 But with all this bliss they were in 00:01:48.060 --> 00:01:52.060 They did not thank God Almighty 00:01:52.060 --> 00:01:55.060 Rather, they committed polytheism and worshiped idols 00:01:55.060 --> 00:01:57.060 And they were lenient in evil deeds 00:01:57.060 --> 00:02:00.060 And they committed crimes 00:02:00.060 --> 00:02:03.989 He was one of the people of Thamud and one of their nobles 00:02:03.989 --> 00:02:06.989 A man named Saleh 00:02:06.989 --> 00:02:09.990 He has a noble and high lineage among them 00:02:09.990 --> 00:02:12.990 He was of sound mind and wisdom 00:02:12.990 --> 00:02:15.990 They return to him in their disputes 00:02:15.990 --> 00:02:19.990 They consult him about their life matters 00:02:19.990 --> 00:02:24.060 Saleh was not satisfied with the polytheism his people were doing 00:02:24.060 --> 00:02:27.060 And disbelief in the blessings of God Almighty 00:02:27.060 --> 00:02:30.060 So he isolated himself from them with his sheep to graze 00:02:30.060 --> 00:02:34.060 He eats its meat and drinks its milk 00:02:34.060 --> 00:02:37.060 So God Almighty chose him as a prophet 00:02:37.060 --> 00:02:40.060 And he sent him to his people as a messenger 00:02:40.060 --> 00:02:43.060 To warn them and warn them 00:02:43.060 --> 00:02:46.060 And brings them back to the right path 00:02:46.060 --> 00:02:50.729 Saleh, peace be upon him, complied with the command of God Almighty 00:02:50.729 --> 00:02:54.729 He began to call his people to monotheism 00:02:54.729 --> 00:02:56.729 And he said to them 00:02:56.729 --> 00:03:00.729 O people of Abdullah, you have no god other than Him 00:03:00.729 --> 00:03:05.729 As is the call of all the prophets before and after him 00:03:05.729 --> 00:03:07.729 So I called them one 00:03:07.729 --> 00:03:10.729 They did not compete with their people for positions 00:03:10.729 --> 00:03:14.729 They did not ask them for anything of their money 00:03:14.729 --> 00:03:20.819 Rather, they were calling them to worship God alone, without partners 00:03:20.819 --> 00:03:26.819 But how did Thamud respond to the call of their Prophet Saleh, peace be upon him? 00:03:26.819 --> 00:03:32.050 They lied to him, mocked him, and rejected his invitation 00:03:32.050 --> 00:03:34.050 And they told him 00:03:34.050 --> 00:03:38.050 O Saleh, we saw in you a mind 00:03:38.050 --> 00:03:42.050 We promised you that you would be one of our supervisors 00:03:42.050 --> 00:03:47.050 How come you now forbid us from worshiping what our fathers worshipped? 00:03:47.050 --> 00:03:50.050 Do you want us to believe you? 00:03:50.050 --> 00:03:55.050 We are in doubt about your words and in doubt about your affairs 00:03:55.050 --> 00:03:58.050 But you, Saleh, are enchanted 00:03:58.050 --> 00:04:02.240 Saleh, peace be upon him, did not pay attention to what they said 00:04:02.240 --> 00:04:05.240 Rather, he continued to invite them and warn them 00:04:05.240 --> 00:04:09.240 And intimidate them from the punishment of God Almighty 00:04:09.240 --> 00:04:14.240 And remind them of the blessings that God Almighty has bestowed upon them 00:04:14.240 --> 00:04:18.240 And warning them of the fate of the perishing nations before them 00:04:18.240 --> 00:04:20.240 Like the people of Aad 00:04:20.240 --> 00:04:22.300 But they lost their minds 00:04:22.300 --> 00:04:26.300 They continued their tyranny and stubbornness 00:04:26.300 --> 00:04:28.300 And they said sarcastically 00:04:28.300 --> 00:04:32.300 Didn’t God find someone else to send to us? 00:04:32.300 --> 00:04:37.300 And if we follow you, we are worse than madmen 00:04:37.300 --> 00:04:40.529 God Almighty said 00:04:40.529 --> 00:04:44.529 And to Thamud, their brother Salih 00:04:44.529 --> 00:04:47.529 He said: O people of Abdullah 00:04:47.529 --> 00:04:51.529 You have no god other than Him 00:04:51.529 --> 00:04:55.529 He created you from the earth 00:04:55.529 --> 00:04:59.529 And he colonized you therein, so seek his forgiveness 00:04:59.529 --> 00:05:05.529 Then repent to Him 00:05:05.529 --> 00:05:11.850 Indeed, my Lord is near and responds 00:05:11.850 --> 00:05:19.850 They said, “O Saleh, you were among us as a hope before this.” 00:05:19.850 --> 00:05:25.850 Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshiped? Rather, he is an evil liar 00:06:53.000 --> 00:06:58.000 Tomorrow they will know who the evil liar is 00:06:58.000 --> 00:07:03.660 Then the people of Thamud resorted to the method of challenge 00:07:03.660 --> 00:07:06.660 And they asked Saleh, peace be upon him 00:07:06.660 --> 00:07:11.660 To bring them a sign as evidence of his sincerity and confirmation of his command 00:07:11.660 --> 00:07:18.790 So they asked him to bring out a she-camel for them from the great rock near their well 00:07:18.790 --> 00:07:21.790 They promised him that he would do what they asked 00:07:21.790 --> 00:08:00.459 And their Prophet Saleh, peace be upon him, said to them 00:08:00.459 --> 00:08:05.459 God has brought this camel to you as you requested 00:08:05.459 --> 00:08:09.459 He made her drink water from the well every day 00:08:09.459 --> 00:08:11.459 And you have a day to drink 00:08:11.459 --> 00:08:14.459 Do not miss the day you drink it 00:08:14.459 --> 00:08:18.459 And the offspring of this camel will eat on God’s earth 00:08:18.459 --> 00:08:21.459 And do not touch her badly 00:08:21.459 --> 00:08:24.459 These are the commands of the Lord of the Worlds 00:08:24.459 --> one of their men 00:09:16.120 --> 00:09:19.120 It is called Masra’ bin Maharaj 00:09:19.120 --> 00:09:21.120 So she offered herself to him 00:09:21.120 --> 00:09:23.120 And she was a beautiful woman 00:09:23.120 --> 00:09:25.120 She said to him 00:09:25.120 --> 00:09:30.120 I will marry you and my dowry is to kill Saleh’s camel 00:09:30.120 --> 00:09:36.279 Another old woman came to a man called Qaddar bin Salif 00:09:36.279 --> 00:09:38.279 And she said to him 00:09:38.279 --> 00:09:40.279 I have four daughters 00:09:40.279 --> 00:09:42.279 I will marry you to whomever you want 00:09:42.279 --> 00:09:45.279 If you kill Saleh's camel 00:09:45.279 --> 00:09:49.269 These two men met 00:09:49.269 --> 00:09:51.269 The son of Muharrij and Qaddar 00:09:51.269 --> 00:09:55.269 They called on Prophet that they were united 00:11:32.259 --> 00:11:37.259 O Saleh, bring us what you promise us of torment 00:11:37.259 --> 00:11:41.259 If you are truly one of the sincere messengers 00:11:41.259 --> 00:11:44.259 Saleh, peace be upon him, said to them 00:11:44.259 --> 00:11:50.259 O my people, why do you hasten to punish the bad deeds before the good deeds? 00:11:50.259 --> 00:11:52.259 Have you asked God for forgiveness? 00:11:52.259 --> 00:11:54.259 May He have mercy on you 00:11:54.259 --> 00:11:58.509 But this method did not work for them 00:11:58.509 --> 00:12:01.509 So God prevented them 00:12:18.509 --> 00:12:21.830 Then those people swore 00:12:21.830 --> 00:12:26.830 The infidel imams wanted to kill Saleh, peace be upon him 00:12:26.830 --> 00:12:29.830 After they killed the tempted 00:13:30.309 --> 00:13:38.309 There were nine people in the city who were making mischief on earth and not doing good 00:13:38.309 --> 00:13:44.309 They said, "Share, for God's sake, that we may spend the night with his family." 00:13:44.309 --> 00:13:50.309 Then we will say to his guardian 00:13:50.309 --> 00:13:53.309 We have not witnessed the destruction of his family 00:13:53.309 --> mentioned good things 00:17:17.539 --> 00:17:19.539 Peace be upon him in the Holy Quran 00:17:19.539 --> 00:17:21.539 Nine times 00:17:21.539 --> 00:17:23.539 He mentioned his tribe, Thamud 00:17:23.539 --> 00:17:25.539 Twenty times 00:17:25.539 --> 00:17:28.539 We have the story of Saleh, peace be upon him 00:17:28.539 --> 00:17:31.539 He taught his people many lessons and lessons 00:17:31.539 --> 00:17:34.279 One of the most important ones 00:17:34.279 --> 00:17:37.279 First, always the consequence 00:17:37.279 --> 00:17:41.279 It is for the prophets of God Almighty, peace be
