The nuclear forty
On the authority of Abu Omar
It was said: Abu Omar
Sufyan bin Abdullah Al-Thaqafi, may God be pleased with him, said
I said, O Messenger of God
Tell me something about Islam that I will not ask anyone else about
He said
Say I believe in God
Then straighten up
Narrated by Muslim
This hadith combines the truth of religion in two great words
Sincere faith in God
Then steadfastness in obeying Him and staying true to His law
Faith is not just a verbal statement
Rather, it is a practical commitment
It appears in worship, morals, and daily behavior
Integrity means continuing obedience and abandoning disobedience
With devotion to God
It is the path to salvation and happiness in this world and the hereafter
Because the greatest thing a believer needs is after knowing the truth
It is steadfastness
