One of the beauties of the Prophet’s biography Friend of workers He has workers who live with him But he does not treat them with enquiry And he does not intend it because he does not have them Or violence them with some form of contemporary violence But he is the opposite His heart was filled with mercy And he was filled with pity He formed a friendship and brotherhood with his workers And love and mercy He draws closer to God Almighty through their love and mercy And no hardship for them It was stated in the Sahih on the authority of Al-Ma’rur bin Suwayd He said I met Abu Dharr in Al-Rabza And he has a solution And his servant has a robe So I asked him about that And he said I insulted a man So she reproached him with his mother The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me O Abazar I reproached him with his mother If he grows ignorant in you Your brothers, your uncles May God put them under your hands Whoever has his brother under his hand Let him eat whatever he eats And let him wear what he wears And do not burden them with anything that overwhelms them If you assign them So help them Simplify with your workers And pour upon them the mercies of mingling and fairness Charity and humility Do not make it difficult for them or burden them beyond what they can bear He gave them luxurious food and clothing And make them a key to the gardens of bliss Consider them a form of friendship Or brothers you met And if they fall short He dismissed them without injustice or threat The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful He who does not have mercy will not have mercy Mercy is only withdrawn from the wretched May God grant us and you success in good work and peace One of the beauties of the Prophet’s biography
