One day, Shifa bint Abdullah came to us

So I gave him my robe

So I said: Yes, O successor of the Messenger of God
So I told him a vision that I had seen in my dream
Its interpretation was the glad tidings of the conquest of the Levant
In addition to the obituary of Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him
As his time approaches
Then I asked him to participate in the Roman invasion
So he gave me permission
He made me one of the commanders of the soldiers in Fatah al-Sham
All of Jordan was conquered by force except Tiberias
Its people have been kind to me
This was by order of Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, may God be pleased with him
Then when Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, assumed the caliphate
He removed me from command of the army
So I said to him, O Commander of the Faithful, have you been incapable or treacherous?
He said: You were not incapable and you were not unfaithful
I said why did you isolate me?
He said, “I was embarrassed to give you command when I found someone more qualified than you.”
I said, “Excuse me, O Commander of the Faithful among the people.”
He said yes I will
Omar, may God be pleased with him, rose
So he excused me in front of people
He appointed me to areas in the Levant
Omar bin Al-Asir, may God be pleased with him, got engaged
When the plague spread in the Levant
He said that this plague is an abomination
They dispersed through these reefs and these valleys
When that reached me
I said, “Rather, it is the mercy of your Lord.”
And the call of your Prophet
And the death of the righteous before you
So gather together and do not separate from him
This reached Omar bin Al-Asir, may God be pleased with him
He said it was true
Then I died in the plague of Emmaus
Where I and Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, may God be pleased with him, were infected with the plague in the same day
We died on the same day
